New Star Wars: The Clone Wars Theatrical Trailer
8 Inch Eggy Dunny by Devilrobots

The one redeeming quality of this limited edition vinyl figure is its price. At the low price of $29.95, the Eggy Dunny might be the cheapest 8 Inch Dunny from Kidrobot we see in a very long time. While most of the reviews I’ve read also speak negatively of the figure’s design, it’s hard to complain about the price. Especially after last month’s release of the 3 Bears Dunny Series, in which if you wanted all three figures you’d have to shell out upwards of $150. Regardless, if you’ve been waiting for a reasonably priced 8” figure to start your Dunny collecting then this is the figure for you! Or, if you’re looking to start customizing Dunnys but haven’t had the right figure to blank out, might I suggest picking up a few Eggy Dunnys.

The Punisher: War Zone Trailer
Everyone seems to be speaking pretty positively about what they’ve seen so far of the newest Punisher movie, Punisher: War Zone. I’m not so sold on the flick yet. If I’ve learned anything over the years it’s that if there is a Marvel character that doesn’t translate well to the big screen, it’s the Punisher. There’s no rhyme or reason for it, and you’d think he’d be the easiest since he has no super powers. Well, hopefully third time’s a charm because Frank Castle really is a great character. There’s a reason he’s been able to sustain his popularity in the comic book community for over 30 years (and I don’t think it’s only because he shoots a lot of people).
I’ve read that director Lexi Alexander aims to make this an ultra violent interpretation of the Punisher and that could be a really good thing. Anything’s better than having John Travolta as the main villain. Speaking of villains, I’m still waiting for my first look of Dominic West’s transformation into the villain Jigsaw. We only get a brief glimpse of West in the movie’s new trailer, and to be honest, I need to see more before I pass judgment…so far, so good. Give the trailer below a viewing and let me know what you think!
Jon Burgerman Poster at IKEA

I have no idea if this is a new poster or not, but it’s new to me and totally threw me for a loop. Either this is a great thing for Burgerman, who is now getting international exposure to his artwork, or it’s a horrible thing for Burgerman because many art and vinyl toy enthusiasts will now view him as “selling out.” I have no idea which applies to this particular case, but I probably lean towards the former. Either way, this is just another sign of how modern art and the designer vinyl figure market is going mainstream. So, if you’re looking for some cheap Jon Burgerman artwork to add to your collection, look no further than your local Swedish home furnishings store IKEA where the poster BILD can be yours for the low, low price of $14.00.
Indiana Jones Mighty Muggs Wave 2

This second wave of figures will include the previously released Indiana Jones Mighty Mugg, the previously revealed Monkey Man and Professor Jones Mighty Muggs and one never before seen figure. Yes, that’s right, we now have picture confirmation of a Mutt Williams Mighty Mugg straight from the summer blockbuster hit Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. To see Shia LaBeouf in all his Mighty Muggs glory, check out the picture below. The vinyl figure can also double as a Sam Witwicky Transformers Mighty Mugg.

Burn Notice: Season 1 DVD Out Today
Going on sale today is the Burn Notice Season 1 DVD box set. Burn Notice quickly became one of my favorite television shows when it debuted last summer on USA and I am eagerly awaiting the start of Season 2 on Thursday, July 10th at 10/9C. Even though I've already seen all of Season 1, I just couldn't resist adding it to my Netflix Queue...especially since Aly has never seen an episode.
I know I’ve spoken about Burn Notice before and I’m sure I will do it again before Season 2’s debut, but if you haven’t given this show a chance yet you really are missing out on some terrific television. The Season 1 Box Set is a great way to get caught up on all of Michael Westen’s adventures in Miami in a quest to find out who burned him from the spy game.
The Burn Notice: Season One DVD box set includes all 11 episodes, including the two-hour season finale, on four DVDs and has a whole slew of extras, like cast/crew commentaries, interviews and more. What’s even better is if you don’t mind watching TV on your computer, you can now watch the entire first season of Burn Notice for free on the NBC/FOX joint venture Hulu.com.
Hulu.com has its very own Burn Notice channel where you are able to watch individual episodes with limited commercial interruptions. Have no fear though, Hulu.com is pretty advanced and allows you to pause, fast forward and rewind its shows. Burn Notice and a ton of other NBC/Universe and FOX television shows are at your disposal, so check it out to watch some of your favorite network shows on the web.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army x Adidas Sneaker Collaboration

The first limited edition sneaker is the Universal Studios x Adidas - Hellboy II: The Golden Army collaboration, the Forum Mid-Golden Army. This shoe is gold, black and white and has “Hellboy lettering across the Velcro strap, with an image of Ron Perlman as the titular demonic anti-hero on the outsole and footbed.” (link)

The second Adidas Original tie-in sneaker is the Dark Horse x Adidas - Hellboy II: The Golden Army Stan Mid-Hellboy. This limited edition “black shoe has the image of Hellboy printed on its side in red” and a slew of additional details like “lace jewels, a mini-comic and unique tongue branding.” (link)

The Forum Mid-Golden Army sneakers are limited to 5,000 pairs and have a suggested retail price of $100. You can find these sneakers at Adidas Originals stores and other selected retailers. The Stan Mid-Hellboy sneakers, on the other hand, are limited to 1,000 pairs and have a suggested retail price of $150. These shoes can be purchased exclusively at Adidas Originals store.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army European Theatrical One-Sheet Movie Poster

I know I’ve talked a lot about the movie posters for The Dark Knight, but Hellboy is quietly giving Batman a run for his money in the PR department. It’s too bad Dark Horse’s Hellboy is no where near as mainstream as Batman or Marvel’s stable of heroes. Because otherwise, this movie might have been one of the summer’s most talked about sequels instead of that other super hero film starring a certain green goliath.

Pon - Custom Dunny and A/P Fatcap Set
There’s a second exciting release also coming out tomorrow, Tuesday, June 17th, and this time it’s from New York artist Pon. As you all know I was really excited about his Feed Fatcap, which was released a few weeks back as a part of Kidrobot’s Fatcap Series 2. Well I had been hoping he’d be selling his Artist Proofs (A/P) sometime soon, and yesterday The Blot found out some exciting news.
Not only will Pon be selling 10 autographed A/Ps, he is pairing each one with a custom hand painted 3” Dunny. (link) According to Pon, the “idea behind the Fatcap is a clean bronze statue with a standard city pigeon sitting on his head with poop all over it. The Dunny is a companion to the Fatcap, but is an aged/dirty bronze statue with an albino pigeon complete with red eyes.” (link)

Each two figure set will be sold on eBay for $100/pair and will go on sale at 2/1 p.m. Central. You can find Pon’s eBay auction here.
Huck Gee - Skullhunter High Death Priest Munny/Dunny

It’s really amazing, the cooler Huck’s custom, hand painted 8 inch Dunnys get the farther they are from being in my price range. Huck’s latest addition to his 8” Jungle series is the Skullhunter High Death Priest Munny/Dunny, which comes wearing “the full ceremonial regalia of his tribe, the sacred 2 eared black skull and wielding the blood skull staff of doom.” (link)

The Skullhunter High Death Priest goes on sale tomorrow, Tuesday June 17th, at Huck’s eBay store at Noon pacific time (that’s 3/2 C for the rest of us) and will be sold one per customer for $800 each. There are only 10 of these limited edition signed and numbered figures being made, and I am sure they will sell out in 10 seconds flat so if you want one you’d better move fast.
