X-Men: Apocalypse Final IMAX Movie Poster

FOX has released an awesome new movie posters for their upcoming Marvel film X-Men: Apocalypse, and it looks great! The Blot loves how this X-Men: Apocalypse Final International IMAX theatrical one sheet features both the franchise’s stars along with the new crop of ‘80s era mutants. I just wish the film was as good as this poster. From the reviews I’ve read so far Apocalypse sounds like a dud…or at least just slightly better than Batman v Superman. Here’s hoping it’s way better than that!

X-Men: Apocalypse opens in the US on Friday, May 27, 2016.

Preacher Teaser Television Posters - What Did Everyone Think Of Last Night's Series Premiere on AMC?

Last night, AMC debuted its newest television show based on a comic book, Preacher! Developed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, The Blot is super excited that we are finally getting a live action Preacher television show. This has been a passion project for Seth and Evan for years now, and I honestly never thought a show based on the Vertigo/DC Comics series by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon could get made – especially after HBO passed. The material is just too raw and graphic for network/cable TV. Then The Walking Dead changed everything!

As of my writing this, The Blot has not seen the Preacher series premiere. So you won’t be getting any spoilers, a review or discussion. But what did you think!?! Hopefully we were all blown away last night by Dominic Cooper's portrayal of the preacher anti-hero Jesse Custer. I have a feeling this show will not disappoint.

For those of you not familiar with the seminal comic book series, here’s the official synopsis of the new AMC television show Preacher: “Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power. Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Ruth Negga) and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) come together, and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.”

Preacher Screen Print Series: “Episode 1” by Dave Quiggle x Gallery 1988

Last night, AMC debuted its newest television show Preacher! The show was developed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and is based on the popular Vertigo/DC Comics comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon. To celebrate the show’s first season, Gallery 1988 has teamed up with AMC, Seth, Evan and Sony to launch an on-going Preacher Screen Print Series!

For the past 4 months, G1988 has been working with the show’s creators and writers to hand select their favorite scenes and imagery from upcoming episodes. Gallery 1988 then teamed up with some of their favorite artists to create screen prints inspired by those specific script pages. In many of the cases, the scenes hadn’t even been filmed yet, creating a very unique, and unprecedented, collaboration. Each piece in the new Preacher Screen Print Series will debut right after the first airing of a new episode at 11pm EST / 8pmM PST on PreacherPrints.com.

To kick things off, Gallery 1988 has released this awesome new print by Dave Quiggle inspired by the first episode of Preacher Season 1 “Pilot”. This screen print measures 18”x24” and is limited to just 150 pieces, with only 100 pieces available for purchase. Collectors can purchase this very first officially licensed Preacher screen print now for just $35.
