Fat Bird “White-Crowned Sparrow” Timed Edition Prints by Mike Mitchell

Yesterday, Mike Mitchell released the newest timed edition print in his ongoing Fat Bird Series, “White-Crowned Sparrow”. What a beautiful little Fat Bird! And as with many of Mitchell’s more recent releases, he’s also released a number of timed edition variants of the White-Crowned Sparrow. “White-Crowned Sparrow” by Mike Mitchell is an 8”x10” signed and numbered fine art giclee on cotton rag paper using archival inks.

The Regular Edition “White-Crowned Sparrow” retails for $50 and 1 in 20 comes with a “Blurb” chase variant, while the Companion Edition retails for $50 and 1 in 5 get an extra “82 Ball” print and 1 in 20 get an extra “No Ball” print.  There are also Printing Error Variants of both prints that retail for $75 each.  But that’s not all! There’s also a beautiful Purple Variant featuring an all black White-Crowned Sparrow, which retails for $75. Today, Bottleneck Gallery teams up with artist PabloOlivera to take us back to Detroit to rock out and squawk out with this fantastic new alternative movie poster for Alex Proyas’ The Crow! TMNT Michelangelo & Mondo Gecko Soft Vinyl Figures by Mondo

Mondo has put up for pre-order the second wave of figures in its new line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Soft Vinyl Figures, and shockingly it’s not just the next two Ninja Turtles. The Blot was seriously blown away by the inclusion of TMNT ally Mondo Gecko in this release alongside the nunchaku wielding Michelangelo. I was also genuinely surprised how quickly these two new figures were released because A) that’s a lot of expensive figures to be purchased in a relatively short period of time, and B) the first two figures have not even been shipped yet. That’s a lot of money to ask for from fans before they’ve even seen a single figure in person yet.

Inspired by the ‘90s era TMNT design (and paying homage to Japanese sofubi), this premium soft vinyl line features articulated figures complete with weapons that can be wielded or holstered for a range of display. With this release, the core four continues with Michelangelo and his bendable, poseable nunchaku, and fans can also pre-order Mondo Gecko, designed by acclaimed artist James Groman.  Mondo comes with his signature turbo-charged skateboard. Fans take note, the sewer skatemaster is the line’s first Mondo exclusive figure.

The Evil Dead Screen Print by Phantom City Creative x Bottleneck Gallery

Later today, Bottleneck Gallery takes us back to the cabin in the woods to meet some Deadites with this amazing new The Evil Dead movie poster by Phantom City Creative!  As BNG explained, “1981 marked the world’s introduction to silver-tongued hero Ash Williams and his world of evil books, and evil-er Deadites.
