SDCC 13 Exclusive Alien ReAction “Discovered Sales Samples” Kenner Action Figure 2 Pack by Super7

In 1979, prototypes for 3 ¾” action figures for the Alien film were developed but never manufactured. Through Super7’s network of industry and collector contacts, Super7 has unearthed reference material and the original 34 year old prototypes so that these “lost toys” are now a reality! How freaking cool is that!?! Under authorization from 20th Century Fox, Super7 will produce the full series of Alien toys as part of its ReAction (Retro-Action) Figure Series. Each is stylized exactly as items from the “golden age” of action figures with approximately five points of articulation, accessories, and period-authentic blister card packaging.

At San Diego Comic-Con 2013 you can pre-order the entire collection of Alien ReAction Kenner-style figures at Super7’s SDCC booth, which includes the Alien (“Big Chap”), Ripley, Ash, Dallas and Kane. Not only that, but Super7 will also be offering a super limited SDCC 2013 Exclusive 2 pack of “Alien Sales Samples” Editions of the Alien (Big Chap) and Kane in unpainted “test shot” blue plastic! Kinda looks like th legendary original rocket firing Boba Fett action figure Kenner never released right? These new figures were made to look like samples Kenner would have displayed at Toy Fair or given out to wholesale buyers to promote their upcoming 3.75” Alien toy line.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Alien ReAction “Discovered Sales Samples” Kenner Action Figure 2 Pack will be released in extremely limited quantities through the Super7 SDCC booth #5245 for just $40. Each figure features five points of articulation, the Alien features extendable inner jaws and removable clear dome, while Kane features a removable clear space helmet. Each 2 pack comes packaged in “cancelled” packaging (including the sales staff letter).
