Huck Gee and Kidrobot are teaming up to produce one of the most ambitious production Dunnys of all time! The Penelope McStompsalot Dunny is really a two piece set, which includes an 8” vinyl mech, fitted with a 3” vinyl Dunny pilot. From the minute Huck and KR started teasing this figure’s release The Blot was all kinds of excited! Finally we were seeing the next evolution of the Dunny. But then the figure’s official release was announced and I saw the price. $199.99 for an 8” Dunny without production numbers provided!?! Knowing Kidrobot’s horrible QC of the past, I just can’t see dropping this kind of coin on a Dunny made from ABS (no matter how amazing Huck’s design is.
Part mechanic, part engineer, and part talent show winner, Penelope McStompsalot hand built her Blowback Industries DUNN-7 wasteland stomper from the salvage of 4 different mechs and a 2135 Chevy Bel Air. She may be a no-nonsense, one eyed, red headed beauty, but don’t let the good looks fool you – she’s as handy with a sawed off shotgun as a lithium power wrench.
The Penelope McStompsalot 8” Dunny comes packaged in a window box designed by the artist and goes on sale Thursday, February 13th, at Kidrobot stores, kidrobot.com, and select retailers worldwide for $199.99. The black colorway will be sold exclusively on kidrobot.com and in Kidrobot retails locations only, while the green colorway will only be sold at specialty stores worldwide!
