This week’s Funko Friday release is the epic “Distressed” Astro Boy Hikari Sofubi vinyl figure, and I think it’s The Blot’s favorite Astro Boy colorway yet! It fits perfectly with the robotic character. I like to think this is what Osamu Tezuka's iconic Astro Boy (or Mighty Atom as he was originally named) would look like if he were ever decommissioned and spent a few months or even years outside in the elements.
The “Distressed” Astro Boy Hikari vinyl figure stands 6” tall, includes a hand numbered card to prove authenticity and rarity, and comes packaged in a full colored window box for easy display.
