The Blot’s been searching the web for weeks for this season’s official cast photo. I finally found out yesterday why I couldn’t find it, ABC hadn't released it yet! Anyway, here is the
Lost Season 5 official cast photo and there is at least one major spoiler hidden in it, and no it’s not that Jeff Fahey’s Frank Lapidus is missing from the photo. Lapidus is still only a reoccurring character and not an official member of the cast. It’s also not the absense of Daniel Dae Kim’s Jin Kwon. While his character Jin was “killed” in the Season 4 finale, I don’t think there is a chance he’s gone for good. But, they couldn’t ruin that potential surprise in the official cast photo. The most shocking
Lost news from the past 6 months has to be that Emilie de Ravin’s contract has been put on hold and she will not be appearing in Season 5. (
link) Have no fear though, she has not left the show entirely. According to both de Ravin and Lost executives, her character Claire Littleton will be back for the show’s sixth and final season in 2010. Evidently Claire’s storyline has ended for the foreseeable future, which is really a shock considering how many questions we all still have about her connection to both Jacob and the deceased yet walking around Christian Shephard. Rumor has it she is now a member of the walking dead, but I’m not sure I buy that. If that is true, who killed her that day in the jungle and why!?!
