Gentle Giant has announced the second figure in its new Marvel’s Secret Wars Jumbo 12” Action Figure toy line, and it’s the evil Hobgoblin! Based on the character's look in the iconic '84 comic book limited series Secret Wars, Spider-Man’s archenemy was digitally scanned from Mattel’s original Secret Wars action figure from the 1980s and reproduced as a whopping 12” tall collectible.
Roto and injection molded and made of durable plastics, this fully articulated jumbo Marvel’s Secret Wars figure includes a faithfully reproduced lenticular shield just like the classic ‘80s toy. Hobgoblin also comes with his signature glider, which features an impressive 15” wingspan. To further capture the vintage feel, Gentle Giant has packaged this Marvel action figure with a Secret Wars inspired backer card featuring original photos and artwork in a resealable plastic outer clam shell.
The Hobgoblin 12” Jumbo Vintage Marvel’s Secret Wars action figure by Gentle Giant is not expected to be released until December 2015, but it can be pre-ordered now at Entertainment Earth for $119.99 here.
