Super7 has dropped a new wave of figures in their epic Transformers Generation 1 ReAction Retro Action Figure Series! This Black Friday Edition Wave features black colorways of classic Transformers characters based on a variety of different past Transformers action figure releases. First up is the Megatron “Gun Robo P-38” Homage Figure, whihc pays tribute to the original, pre-Transformers, Micro Change MC-12 figure that would eventually become the fearsome Decepticon leader.
The Soundblaster “Headmaster Soundwave Clone” Homage Figure is a black and red variant of Soundwave – based on The Headmasters – which gives the Decepticon a more menacing appearance. There are two Autobots in this wave: The Perceptor “MC-20 Robo” Homage Figure is based on the pre-Transformers Micro Change figure MC-20 Robo Microscope that would eventually evolve to become the Autobot scientist; and the Stepper “Japanese Jazz” Homage Figure is based on a Japanese Jazz figure and is the Autobot's best marksman.
These non-transforming retro action figures stand 3.75” tall, feature 5 points of articulation, and come on full color blister cards featuring brand new retro-style Transformers art.
