Today, Bottleneck Gallery recreates one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic covers – The Infinity Gauntlet #1 by legendary artist George Perez! As BNG explained, “Artist George Perez and writer Jim Starlin’s Infinity Gauntlet comic event from 1991 directly inspired the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first decade, aka The Infinity Saga, and became the ultimate zenith of comic events over at Marvel. George’s consistently masterful art was on prime display throughout Infinity Gauntlet’s six-issue run, and we’ve been marvelling over issue #1’s iconic cover for decades. Featuring a super-powered Thanos with all six Infinity Gems in the Infinity Gauntlet, George’s cover shows how much of a threat Thanos is to the rest of the Marvel-verse, spotlighting heroes that are about to be directly impacted by the epic event.”
