Breaking Bad Screen Print #16 - Breaking Bad by Ken Taylor

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Breaking Bad by Ken Taylor

Here is the sixteenth and final screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Breaking Gifs’ last release is this stunning print by Ken Taylor featuring most of the show’s legendary cast. I think it’s safe to say “Breaking Bad” is probably the best print in the entire series, although I’m not sure what that says about Gallery 1988’s tribute to the hit TV show. This has been a very up and down series, and I feel as though there were some really missed opportunities. I know they started to sell out quickly towards the end, but I never felt the same excitement around these releases as I did G1988’s LOST series and Mondo’s Star Wars series.

Ken Taylor’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Breaking Bad” measures 24”x36”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $75 each and can be purchased here at a random time today.

To celebrate and honor the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad, 16 of the top artists and graphic designers have been commissioned to create screenprints depicting some of the series' most memorable scenes, characters and shocking moments for Gallery1988 and its Breaking Bad ARG, Breaking Gifs. These screenprints are hand-pulled, each its own individual work of art, in an edition of just 300, with only 200 available to the public through this project. Once the edition is sold out, they will never be printed again.

Originally designed for the Breaking Gifs x Vannen Breaking Bad watch (this image appeared on the back of the watch), the logo has been transformed into these killer 5”x6” Breaking Bad 3D sculptures.

First Look: Black Heisenberg Skull & Crossbones Breaking Bad Figure by Tristan Eaton

First Look: Pretty in Plastic x Tristan Eaton Black Heisenberg Skull & Crossbones Breaking Bad Vinyl Figure

Pretty in Plastic just posted the photo above on their Instagram account. It’s the second colorway of the Heisenberg Skull and Crossbones Breaking Bad vinyl figure they’re producing with Tristan Eaton! And what’s more appropriate for the harbinger of death than an all black colorway!?! Might this also be available this Monday night (August 20th) at Gallery 1988’s The Breaking Bad Art Project Group Show? More details to come!

The Heisenberg Skull and Crossbones vinyl figure was originally designed for the Breaking Gifs x Vannen Breaking Bad watch (this image appeared on the back of the watch). Pretty in Plastic then took that logo and created these beautiful 5”x6” 3D sculptures.

Gallery 1988 presents The Breaking Bad Art Project Group Show

To celebrate the end of its extremely popular Breaking Gifs Breaking Bad ARG Screen Print Series, Gallery 1988 will be hosting the Breaking Bad Art Project Group Show! The print series official ends at G1988 (Melrose) on this Monday, August 20th, with what I am sure will be a killer art show running from 7-10pm PST.

All 17 limited edition Breaking Bad screen prints, including the final and yet to be revealed 17th poster, will be together for the first time in one room. In addition, dozens of new pieces inspired by the show and created by some of your G1988 favorites, will be unveiled to the public. This is definitely one event you will not want to miss! The show will be up at the gallery through August 26th (but G1988 will be closed on the 21st).

For those not familiar with Gallery 1988’s Breaking Bad Screen Print Series, it was created to celebrate and honor the fifth and final season of AMC's Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad Screen Print #15 - Heisenberg by Todd Slater

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Heisenberg by Todd Slater

Heisenberg” by Todd Slater is the fifteenth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Todd Slater is actually one of The Blot’s favorite artists, and I loved this scene from the show’s fifth season, but something about this print just feels off to me. I know a lot of times the artists are hamstrung by the subject they’re given to illustrate, but when I heard Slater was doing a Breaking Bad print I was really hoping for some crazy intricate pattern used to create the image of the feared Heisenberg. Regardless, this print sold out in mere seconds thanks to a reveal by Mr. Jesse Pinkman himself, Aaron Paul and his Twitter account!

Todd Slater’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Heisenberg” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print retailed for $50 each and could have been purchased here before it sold out.

First Look: Breaking Bad Vannen Watch by Tristan Eaton

First Look: Breaking Gifs x Vannen Breaking Bad Watch by Tristan Eaton

As you all probably know, The Blot is obsessed with AMC’s Breaking Bad! So when Breaking Gifs, the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game, gave away 7 Breaking Bad themed Vannen watches yesterday at this week’s print reveal, The Blot got excited. I knew there was no way Vannen only made 7 of these awesome watches. Thankfully a few hours later my hunch was confirmed when we learned Vannen would be releasing this Breaking Bad themed watch designed by legendary artist and toy designer Tristan Eaton sometime soon!

Breaking Gifs x Vannen Breaking Bad Watch by Tristan Eaton Teaser Image

If you were wondering how this watch ties into Breaking Bad, it’s actually based on one of the show’s most suspenseful episodes “Fly” from Season 3. In that episode Walter becomes obsessed that his superlab had been contaminated when a fly starts buzzing around. Walter is fearful that somehow air is getting in from Gus’ laundry mat cover business, Lavanderia Brillante, which the superlab is hidden beneath.  This explains why the Lavanderia Brillante logo and fly is on the watch's face. The Breaking Gifs x Vannen Breaking Bad watch deisgned by Tristan Eaten will be released soon, so keep your eyes peeled to TheBlotSays.com for more information!

Breaking Bad Screen Print #14 - The White Residence by Mark Englert

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - The White Residence by Mark Englert

The White Residence” by Mark Englert is the fourteenth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Mark Englert has been producing some killer prints as of late, and this one is equally as stunning! Sadly, I just don’t see the appeal of having Walter White’s home on your wall.

Nevertheless, this is a pretty awesome print that sold out instantly upon release.
Mark Englert’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “The White Residence” measures 36”x12”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print retailed for $60 each and could have been purchased here before it sold out.

The Superlab” by Kevin Tong is the thirteenth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Breaking Bad Screen Print #12 - Jane by Frank Kozik

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Jane by Frank Kozik

Jane” by Frank Kozik is the twelfth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. I have to say, with these last few releases this series is really taking off! I love Frank Kozik’s concert posters and this print is pure Kozik, from the colors and the text, to the layering effects and textures. I love its retro feel and have a strong suspicion both Kozik and Breaking Bad fans are going to go nuts over this print.

Frank Kozik’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Jane” measures 24”x18”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and can be purchased here.

Breaking Bad Screen Print #10 - The Lily Of The Valley by Phantom City Creative

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - The Lily Of The Valley by Phantom City Creative

The Lily Of The Valley” by Phantom City Creative is the tenth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. I didn’t realize until today that I never posted anything about this beautiful print featuring one of the show’s most impactful players, which is really saying something considering it’s a plant! I love this striking image on a simple white background so much I think it’s safe to say it is The Blot’s favorite Breaking Gifs print released to date. It’s also one of only two in this series I would definitely hang on my walls.

Phantom City Creative’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “The Lily Of The Valley” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. Breaking Bad Screen Print #11 - The Cousins by Jeff Boyes

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - The Cousins by Jeff Boyes

The Cousins” by Jeff Boyes is the eleventh screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. This week’s print features two of the show’s baddest characters, Leonel and Marco Salamanca aka The Cousins. Why these twin hitmen are nicknamed The Cousins and not The Twins is anyone’s guess, but they are the cousins of both Tuco and Hector Salamanca. While not my favorite characters, their silent brooding definitely left an indelible mark on the show.

Jeff Boyes’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “The Cousins” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and could have been purchased here but it sold out immediately upon release earlier today.

Breaking Bad Screen Print #9 - Emilio’s Disposal by Dave Perillo

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Emilio’s Disposal by Dave Perillo

Emilio’s Disposal” by Dave Perillo is the ninth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. The Blot’s a little late reporting on this print by Perillo because it dropped while I was gone on a summer vacation, but it’s too good to ignore completely. For this print Perillo went all the way back to Breaking Bad’s pilot for one of the show’s seminal moments. When Walter and Jesse dispose of Emilio’s body in a vat of acid later in Episode 2 ("The Cat's In The Bag..."), the audience knows right away this show is going to be like any other.

Dave Perillo’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Emilio’s Disposal” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The San Diego Comic-Con 2012 Exclusive “Episode 5.01” screen print by Jermaine Rogers is a surprise seventeenth print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Think of this as just a little teaser of what’s to come in Breaking Bad’s first episode back from hiatus when Season 5 premieres this Sunday, July 15th, at 10/9c. Jermaine Rogers is one of The Blot’s favorite artists, so you know it pains me this one’s dropping exclusively at SDCC. But hopefully it at least finds its way into some diehard collectors’ hands!

Jermaine Rogers’ limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Episode 5.01” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. Breaking Bad Screen Print #8 - The Mexican Shootout by Rich Kelly

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - The Mexican Shootout by Rich Kelly

The Mexican Shootout” by Rich Kelly is the eight screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. This print depicts one of the coolest scenes in the history of Breaking Bad, and that’s saying a lot! While I love this image of Jesse, Gus and Mike, I’m not so sure how well it works as a print. Yes the coloring is amazing, but is this really an image you’d want on your wall?

Rich Kelly’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “The Mexican Shootout” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and can be purchased here.

Breaking Bad Screen Print #7 - Los Pollos Hermanos by Jessica Deahl

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Los Pollos Hermanos by Jessica Deahl

Los Pollos Hermanos” by Jessica Deahl is the seventh screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season.  So many great scenes have taken place at Gus' Los Pollos Hermanos, it's almost like the fast food fried chicken restaurant has taken on a life of its own.  Hopefully we haven't seen the last of it after Season 4's shocking finale.

Jessica Deahl’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Los Pollos Hermanos” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and can be purchased here.

Breaking Bad Screen Print #6 - Jesse Pinkman by Rhys Cooper

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Jesse Pinkman by Rhys Cooper

Jesse Pinkman” by Rhys Cooper is the sixth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Rhys Cooper’s artwork always kills, and this is definitely The Blot’s favorite print of the series so far. I love all of the characters Rhys included in the shattered glass background showing all of the lives Jesse’s murder of Gale at the end of Season 3 affected.

Rhys Cooper’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Jesse Pinkman” measures 12”x36”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and can be purchased here.

Breaking Bad Screen Print #5 - Saul Goodman by Chris DeLorenzo

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Saul Goodman by Chris DeLorenzo

Saul Goodman” by Chris DeLorenzo is the fifth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. Bob Odenkirk steals ever scene he's in as Walter White’s shady attorney Saul Goodman, causing Saul to quickly become a Breaking Bad fan favorite. What could have easily been a throwaway guest starring role quickly evolved into an multifaceted and intriguing character. Without a doubt one of the smartest things Breaking Bad did was making Odenkirk’s Saul Goodman a permanent cast member in Season 3.

Chris DeLorenzo’s limited edition Breaking Bad screen print “Saul Goodman” measures 18”x24”, has a run size of 300 pieces (only 200 available for purchase) and comes hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print will retail for $50 each and can be purchased here.

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Wayfarer 515 by Justin Santora

Wayfarer 515” by Justin Santora is the fourth screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. I would love to try and explain this print’s significance, but honestly it’s kind of a long story. Needless to say, it’s definitely an important moment in the show’s history and is connected to many Breaking Bad storylines. It’s amazing how serene Santora has made such a terrible event look.

Breaking Gifs Limited Edition Breaking Bad Screen Prints - Gus by Anthony Petrie

Gus” by Anthony Petrie is the third screen print in the Breaking Bad Alternate Reality Game Series released in honor of the hit AMC television show Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season. *Spoiler Alert* This print depicts one of the show’s most pivotal scenes in all of its gruesome glory. While definitely an important moment in the history of Breaking Bad, I just can’t see this print gracing many fans’ walls. I do love the amazing job Petrie did with the print’s shattered glass background. It’s a very cool effect.
