Invisible Creature Mummyfig LEGO Mini Figure

The Blot was super bummed to learn that I missed out on Invisible Creature’s epic Mummy mascot reimagined as a real life LEGO mini figure!!! For this release, Invisible Creature teamed up with The Minifig Co. to create the IC Mummyfig. Each IC Mummyfig is custom printed by The Minifig Co. using genuine LEGO parts. Limited to just 90 pieces, the Invisible Creature Mummyfig LEGO Mini Figure came packaged on a full color backer card and retailed for just $15 at the IC online store. Sadly, this figure sold out super quick.

Super7’s SDCC 2017 Exclusive Sofubi Vinyl Figures!

It wouldn’t be San Diego Comic-Con without some of Super7’s awesome sofubi figures cast in real soft Japanese vinyl. Although the company has focused more on licensed properties as of late, their original creations have always been some of the relations The Blot looks forward to the most every SDCC. This year, Super7 will be releasing the following four figures: “Metallic Blue Mayhem” Alien Queen 5” vinyl figure ($65), Black Cab Dragon 4” vinyl figure ($50) by Super7 x Secret Base x Steve Caballero, Glow Colonel Stinson 6” vinyl figure ($65) by Super7 x Invisible Creature, and “Furious Fossil” Caveman Dino 4” vinyl figure ($35) by Super7 x Josh Herbolsheimer. All four will be available at the Super7 SDCC booth #4945.

“Cobalt Cruiser” Colonel Stinson & “Purple Passion” Leroy C. Vinyl Figures by Invisible Creature x Super7

Yesterday, Super7 released two new vinyl figures by Invisible Creature! First up is “Cobalt Cruiser” Colonel Stinson ($65) from Invisible Creature’s world of Odd Galaxy space misfits! Colonel Stinson explores the galaxy from the comfort of his tank chair. The Cobalt Cruiser Edition Colonel Stinson stands 6” tall and is cast in blue soft Japanese vinyl with red, brown and grey paint applications and light blue highlights. Each figure comes packaged in a deluxe box designed by Invisible Creature.

The second S7xIC collab is the “Purple Passion” Leroy C. ($35)! This adorable monster is a happy wanderer strolling through life with his eyes closed. The Purple Passion Edition Leroy C. stands 4” tall and is cast purple soft Japanese vinyl with blue, purple and red sprays. Both figures can be purchased now at the Super7 online store and the Invisible Creature online store.

Super7 will be returning to Designer Con at the Pasadena Convention Center next weekend and bringing with them some killer exclusives! Super7 Unveils Its SDCC 16 Exclusive Vinyl Figures!

After announcing a ton of killer officially licensed San Diego Comic-Con 2016 exclusives, Super7 finally unveiled what The Blot was waiting for…their yearly offering of SDCC 2016 exclusive soft Japanese vinyl figures! There are so many beautiful pieces this year, including the world debut of their newest figure Bat Boy! All of these exclusives and so much more will be available at the Super7 SDCC booth #4945.

Other Comic-Con exclusives include “Glowing Gorilla” Wing Kong, “Red Rover” Colonel Stinson by Invisible Creature, Steve Caballero’s “Green Dragon” Cab Dragon, “Molten Magma” Alien Queen, “Caramel Swirl” Foster, “Caramel Swirl” Milton, “Rusted Robot” Cyclobot, “Burned” Doku Duo, and “Burned” SD Dokuwashi. Colonel Stinson & “Wormwood” Leroy C. Vinyl Figures by Super7 x Invisible Creature

Last weekend Super7 and Invisible Creature teamed up to introduce two awesome new vinyl figures to the world, and held a killer release party to commemorate the occasion! The first vinyl toy from Invisible Creature’s world of space misfits is Colonel Stinson of Odd Galaxy! Colonel Stinson explores the galaxy from the comfort of his tank chair. This is the first painted colorway of Colonel Stinson, and he looks fantastic cast in green and grey soft Japanese vinyl with soft yellow, white, grey and red sprays. This 6” vinyl figure is now sold out at the Super7 online store, but retailed for $65 and came packaged in a deluxe box with art print.

The second S7xIC collab is “Wormwood” Leroy C! Cast in beautiful crystal clear soft Japanese vinyl with green and dark red sprays, this special edition Leroy C. comes with a two piece wooden insert inside each figure. What an awesome mash-up of wood and vinyl! This 4” figure is now sold out, but came with an Invisible Creature print and retailed for $50.

Black & Silver Swirl Leroy C. Vinyl Figure by Invisible Creature

The Blot has no idea how I missed the announcement of this beautiful Black and Silver Swirl Leroy C. vinyl figure by Invisible Creature! Originally released as a ToyCon UK Exclusive last weekend, this awesome Leroy C. colorway was slush cast with black and silver soft Japanese vinyl and features yellow and metallic silver sprays. I absolutely love how all these metallic silvers play against the black vinyl of Leroy C. Produced by Super7, this 4.25” vinyl figure is currently available for purchase at the Invisible Creature online store for $40 each.

“Firestarter” Leroy C Vinyl Figure by Invisible Creature

Super7 has released a new colorway of Invisible Creature’s devilish dinosaur Leroy C, and the results were hot! The “Firestarter” Leroy C is cast in vibrant translucent orange vinyl, and features red and yellow sprays. The “Firestarter” Leroy C retailed exclusively at the Super7 online store for $35. Sadly, this fiery figure sold out soon after release.

SDCC 13 Exclusive “Pink Passion” Leroy C Vinyl Figure by Invisible Creature

Leroy C, Invisible Creature’s devilish dinosaur, is back in a killer new colorway for San Diego Comic-Con 2013! Super7 has the SDCC 2013 Exclusive “Pink Passion” Leroy C all dressed up in a beautiful translucent pink vinyl packed densely with silver glitter throughout with white, blue, and violet sprays. The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive “Pink Passion” Leroy C stands 4” tall and can be purchased from the Super7 SDCC booth #5245 for $35.

What is Invisible Creature’s Odd Galaxy!?!

A big thank you to Thomas Scott for directing The Blot to Invisible Creature’s new Odd Galaxy website! As Thomas points out in his tweet, the Odd Galaxy logo is pretty sweet and is hopefully the beginning of something very, very cool. According to the site, it’s a new squad of galactic misfits from Invisible Creature and Super7 crash landing this winter 2013.

The Blot did some snooping, and according to the Odd Galaxy Twitter account the new Invisible Creature vinyl figure that was on display at Super7’s SDCC 2012 booth is the first character in their new Odd Galaxy toy line. The figure is named Colonel Stinson and is the size of Super7’s Mascot DX line (ala Mummy Boy and Rose Vampire DX). Hopefully more details will be unveiled soon!

Super7 Abominable Leroy C. & Hues of Blues DokuDuo Vinyl Figures

Super7 wasn’t joking when they said January 2012 would be crazy! For the second week in a row, Super7 will be dropping not one but two awesome Monster Family vinyl figures! First up is the Abominable Leroy C! Stomping around in the snow during the wintertime is a favorite activity of the Abominable Leroy C. His toothy smile is a testament to that. Invisible Creature's Leroy C. is cast in white vinyl with blue, yellow and silver sprays.

Next up is Brian Flynn’s DokuDuo, which is cast in pale green with blue, green, white and silver sprays. The Hues of Blues DokuDuo is a little totem from the ghostly beyond who can't help but smile as he knows a little secret worth sharing. Both figures will retail for $35 each and go on sale this Thursday, January 19th, at noon PST at the Super7 online store.

Full Metal Jacket Leroy C. & S7 GID Pocket Invisiboy

Summer may be over but Super7 is just starting to enjoy the sunshine in San Francisco! While most dread the end of summer and a return to school, Leroy C. is more than happy as he looks forward to stomping around the playground during recess. Full Metal Jacket Leroy C. by Invisible Creature is cast in Pearl Grey vinyl highlighted by bronze and grey sprays and will retail for $35 each.

As much as he wants to disappear, Pocket Invisiboy will have a hard time hiding when cast in glow in the dark vinyl! Super7’s pocket sized mascot in an ascot is back in Super7’s traditional GID colors (cast in Glow vinyl with red and blue sprays). This is one colorway that is sure to spark excitement in Super7 collectors, especially at its $25 price. Leroy C. and Pocket Invisiboy go on sale this Friday, September 16th, at noon Pacific at the Super7 online store.

Salvatore the Sasquatch & George Action Figure Set by Invisible Creature

Man, the surprise releases just keep on coming! Invisible Creature announced on Wednesday that Salvatore and George, the lovable mascots IC created for the Sasquatch! Music Festival’s 10th anniversary, would be released this summer as vinyl figures!

Salvatore stands 4″ tall while George packs a TON of detail into an impressive 2″. The two characters come as a set and will be available in person (along with a few limited-edition prints) on May 19th at Velocity Art & Design in Seattle, WA. Don’t worry if you can’t make it Invisible Creature’s show on the 19th, this 2 figure set will be available for pre-order soon and at the Sasquatch! Music Festival May 27-30. More details to come!

Super7 x Invisible Creature Leroy Vinyl Figure

Meet Leroy by Invisible Creature, the newest Monster Family vinyl figure from Super7! The first painted release of Leroy will first go on sale at 6pm on Saturday, April 23rd at Super7 in conjunction with Invisible Creature’s new art show “Full Circle”. “Full Circle” will feature a collection of over 20 posters and prints and also mark collector’s first opportunity to purchase this incredible Leroy vinyl figure.

The “Full Circle” Leroy features metallic silver, white and dark red spray on red vinyl and will be available on April 23rd in store only! Any remaining Leroys will be available online via the Super7 website the following Monday, April 25th at 11am PDT.

Aziz Ansari Dangerously Delicious Tour Screen Prints by Invisible Creature

Last Saturday night The Blot hit up Houston’s House of Blues to see Aziz Ansari, one of my favorite comedians, perform. His stand-up routine is hilarious, and if you haven’t heard his comedy album Intimate Moments For A Sensual Evening go buy it now! I had been looking forward to this show for months, and Aziz definitely didn’t disappoint. But what really surprised me about the show was to learn Aziz was releasing a different screen print for each stop on his Dangerously Delicious Tour.

While lots of bands have a different gig poster for each tour stop, I’ve never heard of a comedian doing something like this. They might have one screenprint for the whole tour, but to commission a different poster for each show shows Aziz’ love of rock poster art. Best of all, the Houston poster was made by the very talented artists at Invisible Creature. Invisible Creature was commissioned to create 4 posters for Aziz' tour stops in New York, DC, Houston and Austin, and they all turned out pretty great. Best of all, all posters purchased at the show came signed by Aziz (see photo above)!
