Luke Chueh will be releasing the fourth colorway of his very first self-produced vinyl figure – Low Fidelity – this weekend exclusively at DesignerCon 2024! The DCon 2024 Low Fidelity One With Nature Edition Vinyl Figure features brown body with camo green hoodie and black headphones.
This 7” viny figure is based on Chueh’s 2022 painting “Low Fidelity”. The figure captures the feeling of being comfortably alone, a common thread in Chueh’s work. Inspired by the lofi/study-beat/chillhop music Luke often listens to when painting, the figure was sculpted by 3D modeling artist Dave Bondi, who also sculpted Luke’s first art toy, Possessed, in 2007. It will first be available at Luke Chueh’s DCon booth #820 with any remaining figures available at LukeChuehStore.com after the convention.

Wow, The Blot can’t believe how long it’s been since we’ve gotten new sofubi releases from Kathie Olivas and Brandt Peters, but boy am I glad they’re back! Check out the super fun Mulberry colorway of Olivas’ Calliope Jackalope and Peters’ Stingy Jack. Produced by Circus Posterus and Tomenosuke, each figure is cast in soft Japanese vinyl and then hand painted.

Jermaine Rogers will be setting up shop at Designer Con 2023 this weekend at DCon booth #312 where he will be releasing some epic new exclusives! First up is the Designer Con 2023 Exclusive Creeping Shadow Variant Vinyl Figure! This is the third colorway of JR’s newest vinyl figure and features Dero with all black body with red eyes. It is 8” long and is limited to just 400 pieces.
