SDCC 2019 Exclusive The Walking Dead “Eyes Without A Face” Print Set by Jason Edmiston x Skybound

Here’s the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 exclusive The Blot’s been waiting for! Skybound has teamed up with artist Jason Edmiston once again to produce this epic The Walking Dead “Eyes Without A Face” Print Set! This limited edition print set features fan favorite TWD characters in Edmiston’s signature Eyes Without A Face art style. What makes this release super cool is that each San Diego Comic-Con exclusive set comes in a one of a kind hand-embellished envelope!

As Edmiston explained, “To celebrate the final issue of The Walking Dead, I was asked to create these paintings, based on Charlie Adlard’s art.” The San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Exclusive The Walking Dead “Eyes Without A Face” Print Set by Jason Edmiston includes Rick Grimes, adult Carl, Michonne, The Governor and Negan. SDCC 2017 Exclusive The Walking Dead Shiva Force Action Figure Box Set by Skybound x McFarlane Toys x Jason Edmiston

Skybound has announced their first exclusive for San Diego Comic-Con 2017 and it is truly amazing!!! Inspired by the G.I. Joe’s Tiger Force, Skybound is teaming up with McFarlane Toys to release this SDCC 2017 Exclusive The Walking Dead Shiva Force Action Figure Box Set. As if they were coming straight out of an ‘80s cartoon, Shiva Force includes Rick Grimes, Michonne, Ezekiel and Shiva all sporting a new Shiva Force paint deco. This is also the very first time McFarlane Toys has ever made a Shiva action figure.

Each figure in the San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive The Walking Dead Shiva Force Box Set stands 5” tall and comes packaged on a vintage styled blister card with new artwork painted by Jason Edmiston! This limited edition four figure box set will be available in a regular edition color version and a bloody variant. Each colorway is limited to 1,000 sets and will retail for $100 at the Skybound SDCC booth.

Keep an eye out for Shiva Force’s secret fifth member, Jesus! He will only be available via the summer MegaBox from Skybound. But that’s not all! Fans of The Walking Dead: Road to Survival can get Shiva Force versions of their favorite characters in game starting July 20th (SDCC weekend). King Ezekiel will be available for free for a limited time in game, so don’t miss out!

The Walking Dead T-Shirt Collection by Johnny Cupcakes

The Walking Dead Season 7 is set to premiere on AMC later this month, and to celebrate the show’s return Johnny Cupcakes has released an epic new collection of tees based on the popular horror series. Along with Cupcake and Crossbones designs based on Rick Grimes and Michonne, there’s an awesome Glenn Big Kid t-shirt, a Negan design and a Daryl Dixon tee. Basically there’s a different shirt for everyone’s favorite character from the show!

The Blot cannot believe it’s taken 9 waves of The Walking Dead TV series action figures for us to get our very first toy of one of the show’s original cast members, T-Dog. The Walking Dead Television Series 9 action figures are scheduled to hit store shelves in February 2016 just in time for the hit AMC TV show’s Season 6 Part II premiere. The Walking Dead Minimates Series 6

A new series of The Walking Dead Minimates have finally been released by Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum! The best part about this release is it moves the popular toy line past TWD’s prison storyline. The Walking Dead Minimates Series 6 brings the cast to the walled compound known as The Community that would become their home following the fall of the prison.

The Walking Dead Minimates Series 6 includes 2-packs featuring Constable Rick with Douglas, Carl with Burning Zombie, Constable Michonne with Winter Zombie and a rare, one-per-case variant set of Party Dress Michonne with Winter Zombie. Each Minimate mini-figure stands 2 inches tall, with 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable parts and accessories.

The Walking Dead Season 5 Teaser Poster

We’re still a couple of months away from the season premiere of The Walking Dead, but it’s never too early for AMC to hype their #1 television show’s return! Check out this awesome The Walking Dead Season 5 teaser TV poster. It’s got most of the show’s primary cast (Rick, Carl, Michonne, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie and Abraham) in chains and ready to brawl. I think it’s safe to say whoever runs Terminus and threw Rick, Michonne and friends into that railroad car are definitely “screwing with the wrong people!”

This is one of the strangest store exclusive releases The Blot’s ever seen. Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum have announced a second wave of The Walking Dead Minimates Series 5 sold exclusively at Toys R Us! Not sure why they added this on to Series 5 instead of making it its own release, but oh well. What is really going to excite fans about this The Walking Dead Minimates assortment is it will include an array of never before released characters and walkers!

The Toys R Us Exclusive The Walking Dead Minimates Series 5 Wave 2 features four 2 packs including Traveler Rick Grimes and Business Zombie, Riot Gear Michonne and Hitchhiker Zombie, Abraham Ford and Military Zombie, and Eugene Porter and Emaciated Zombie. Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall and features a variety of interchangeable parts and accessories, including weapons for all the human characters and decomposing parts for all the zombies!

The Walking Dead Season 4 TV Posters

Somehow the hiatuses between seasons of AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead keep feeling shorter. I guess it is because AMC was smart enough to split up their short 16 episode seasons into two 8 episode mini-seasons. The first Season 4 banner is nothing all that special, Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes walking out of the prison’s broken fence. But the show’s teaser banner is all kinds of awesome!

It features newcomer Chad L. Coleman’s Tyreese fighting off a whole heard of walkers with his signature hammer, Lincoln’s Grimes and Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon look generally bad ass, and Danai Gurira’s Michonne on horseback ready to inflict serious damage on some walkers. If this doesn’t get you excited for Season 4 nothing will!

The Walking Dead Season 4 premieres on Sunday, October 13th on AMC at 9/8c.

The Walking Dead Minimtes just keep coming! Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum's newest TWD 4 pack is entitled "Prison Outbreak" and includes battle-damaged Rick Grimes in a prison jumpsuit, Michonne, and 2 never before released zombies! The Walking Dead’s prison story is one of the best comic book storylines of all time, but I’m getting a little worn out of all The Walking Dead toys based on this “era”. The book has been around for 10 years and over 100 issues, it’s time for companies to start bringing in new characters or at least different versions of the comic’s core characters.
