Sesame Street x Johnny Cupcakes T-Shirt Collection Part 2

This weekend, Johnny Cupcakes released the second part of its fantastic collab with Sesame Street. What’s crazy is that the Sesame Street x Johnny Cupcakes T-Shirt Collection Part 2 includes over 25 new items! There are some fantastic pieces in this officially licensed apparel collection featuring everyone’s favorite Muppets from 123 Sesame Street.

This adorable collab includes many of The Blot’s favorite residents of Sesame Street, including Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, The Count, and Bert and Ernie. While there are no Big Kid designs this time around, how can you not love the Bert and Ernie Crossbones designs?

Johnny Cupcakes 20th Anniversary Vintage Collection T-Shirts

It’s hard to believe that Johnny Cupcakes, one of The Blot’s favorite indie brands, is celebrating its 20th anniversary!  To celebrate this huge milestone, JC is rebaking some of their favorite (and their customer’s favorite) designs throughout 2021.  While most releases this year will have a special 20 year emblem printed on the back or sleeve, these occasional vintage JC t-shirts will also have this “VINTAGE RECIPE” hem print along with a “rebaked date”.  These small, clean details not only commemorate this epic journey Johnny Cupcakes has been on, but it also separates these rebakes from the original releases.

To kick off the 20 Years of Johnny Cupcakes Celebration, JC has released 3 vintage favorites: the Nintendo inspired “Powermitt 2.0”, the Hook homage “Capn Cook 2.0”, and the Karate Kid “Cobra Kakes 2.0”.  Johnny Cupcakes brought back some heavy hitters with these three pop culture homages!  What classic JC tees are you hoping are rereleased this year!?!

The original Alien Stomper was designed and used for the 1979 movie Alien. After a highly limited release around the movie’s launch, Reebok did not produce any Alien Stompers until 2003.
