The Godfather Part II by Patrik Svensson is an 18”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $55. Both versions will go on sale at 12pm EDT today, Friday, June 29th, at the Bottleneck Gallery online store.

The Blot is absolutely loving this beautiful The Godfather Part II screen print by Laurent Durieux that Odd City Entertainment is releasing later today. When I first saw all of the amazing colors and shading in Durieux’ design I thought for sure this movie poster was going to be a lithograph, but it is in fact a freaking 12 color screen print! How awesome is that? Then again, one of the most iconic films of all time deserves nothing but the best!

The Godfather Part II by Laurent Dureiux is a 24”x36” 12 color signed and numbered screen print. The Standard Edition is limited to 375 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $100. Odd City is also releasing a killer Wood Edition that is limited to just 60 pieces and will retail for $300. It is super rare for legendary concert poster artist Jermaine Rogers to design a movie poster, so when he announced on Facebook that he’d been commissioned to design a new movie screen print The Blot’s interest was definitely piqued! What film could have inspired JR enough participate in this project you ask!?! Only one of the greatest movies of all time…The Godfather 2!

Produced by Spoke Art in conjunction with the film’s screening at the historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco, Jermaine created this striking image inspired by one of The Godfather 2’s most memorable quotes: "I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!" As Jermaine explained on Facebook, “some of my biggest heroes are Polish film poster artists and that style...so everything here is real d.i.y. - no gloss.” What a killer image!
