Check it out, Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys is about to unleash his Ugly Unicorn sofubi vinyl figure on US soil next month at New York Comic-Con! Sold exclusively at the Tenacious Toys booth, this clear Ugly Unicorn with metallic blue spray is the third painted UU release by Rampage Toys, and looks awesome. I love the way Jon was able to use a blue rub but keep the figure translucent throughout. This is definitely on the top of The Blot’s list of must have NYCC exclusives.
The New York Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Clear Ugly Unicorn with metallic blue spray has a limited edition run size of 10 pieces, comes bagged with a signed screen printed header card and will retail for $42 at the Tenacious Toys NYCC booth #876. A second NYCC exclusive micro run of Ugly Unicorn is also in the works (most likely on yellow vinyl), which will be sold exclusively at the Lulubell booth.
