Dave Bondi released the fourth colorway of his awesome Astronocchio resin figure exclusively at Designer Con 2014 last weekend! A blend of Astro Boy and Pinocchio, the DCon 2014 Exclusive Astronocchio is cast in translucent lime green resin and includes an awesome purple ray gun accessory. I don’t really understand Astronocchio’s gun accessory, but I love that Bondi throws in an extra little blaster accessory with each colorway! Rumor is this is possibly the last colorway to be released of the 5” Astronocchio, but Bondi is already hard at work at a fully articulated, fully painted 12” version! How crazy is that!?!
The Designer Con 2014 Exclusive Green Edition Astronocchio by Dave Bondi stands 5” tall and comes packaged on a full color blister card that pays homage to classic Disney graphics and Japanese robot schematics. Each figure is 100% handmade, and comes signed and numbered by the artist. Limited to just 25 pieces, it was available for purchase at Dave’s DCon booth #307 for $65 each. Look for any remaining pieces to go up for sale on Bondi's online store after the convention.
