Fans of Mondo’s epic The Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure released last year (and still available here), get excited! Mondo is releasing this killer, and super limited, “Shadow Variant” Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure later today. As the Mondo team explains, “The Iron Giant was one of our favorite animated movies to come out of the 90s and in the spirit of that decade, we imagined what it would be like if there was a more extensive toy line for the film. Often toys would come out in funky variations, like 'Lava Punch' this and 'Ice Shield' that, and with this in mind we created The Iron Giant Shadow Variant. It's a ‘stealth’ version of the friendly robot, while still keeping the aesthetic slick and in line with the original design.”
The Shadow Variant Iron Giant Deluxe Action Figure stands 16” tall, features 30+ points of articulation, and all of the accessories seen in the photo above. Limited to just 150 pieces, this Shadow Variant Iron Giant will go on sale at 11am CST today, Monday, April 18th, at the Mondo online store for $300.
