It’s been two years, but Mighty Muggs are back! Just when you think Hasbro has finally let its once popular vinyl figure platform die a respectable death, they bring Mighty Muggs back for one more San Diego Comic-Con exclusive release. What’s really crazy is they’re using this platform to revive yet another one of its once beloved toy franchises, Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light. Hasbro did something similar in 2014 when they release the ROM: The Space Knight Mighty Muggs figure (originally seen here) at SDCC. The Blot just can't believe how much I want this figure! I'm such a sucker for all things Mighty Mugg.
The San Diego Comic-Con 2016 Exclusive Visionaries Mighty Muggs Vinyl Figure is of the heroic Leoric and features his iconic lion hologram chest plate (based on the long forgotten ‘80s action figure toy line). This collectible figure can be purchased at the Hasbro SDCC booth #3329 for $24.99. Any remaining figures will probably be made available at HasbroToyShop.com after the convention.
