SDCC 13 Exclusive Bartholomew Punchyface Plush Figure by Scott Tolleson & Luke Chueh

Luke Chueh and Scott Tolleson’s popular collaboration, the plush figure Bartholomew Punchyface is back in an exclusive new colorway for San Diego Comic-Con 2013! ‎Bartholomew‬ ‎Punchyface, the most pathetic nerd bear you'll ever meet, combines Luke's cynicism with Scott's "nerd chic" to create a character that most people, especially those who had a hard time in school, can empathize with. For SDCC 2013, Bartholomew is sporting a chic (and limited edition) red and yellow shirt.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Bartholomew Punchyface Plush Figure by Scott Tolleson and Luke Chueh is 14” tall and will be sold exclusively at 3DRetro’s SDCC booth #5051 for $40 each.

Scott Tolleson and Luke Chueh have teamed up with 3D Retro to produce what is sure to be one of the hottest plush figures of 2013…Bartholomew Punchyface! Bartholomew combines the aesthetics of Tolleson’s Nosellot line of plush figures with Luke’s signature bear. I think he wears Scott’s argyle pretty well, don’t you think!?!

Not only does poor little Bartholomew Punchyface sport a lone, solitary tear, but he also wears real underwear perfect for a wedgie! He’s also sporting a “kick me" sign on his back, and blemishes on his corduroy pants.

Designed by A Little Stranger based on Luke and Scott’s artwork and produced by 3D Retro, the OG colorway of Bartholomew Punchyface makes its world premiere at tonight’s release party at Giant Robot (Saturday, April 13th from 5-8pm). Afterwards the original Bartholomew colorway, which has a limited edition run size of 400 pieces, will be available for purchase at the 3D Retro online store.
