Buff Monster’s killer new Mister Melty 10” vinyl figure is back in a striking new monotone colorway (with some pink detailing to stay true to Buff’s aesthetic). Happy Melty Head Round Screen Prints by Buff Monster

Today, Buff Monster is releasing his very first round screen prints. There will be two different 12” round editions available and they look fantastic! The first edition “Looking Up” features a happy melty head looking up with a pixelated spray paint splatter background. It is limited to 200 signed and numbered pieces and will retail for $80. The second edition “Looking Forward” features a happy melty head in ¾ view looking back at the viewer with hand painted backgrounds in a variety of splattered spray paint. This edition is limited to 100 signed and numbered pieces and will retail for $200. Both editions go on sale at 11am ET on Wednesday, July 27th, at StayMelty.com.

“As I’ve slowly created more round paintings (and I have more round panels to be painted), I wanted to explore making a round print. I always like to create two versions of a release, when possible; the regular version and a more unique version. Mister Melty 10” Vinyl Figure by Buff Monster

Check out Buff Monster’s epic new Mister Melty 10” vinyl figure! This is the first non-sofubi vinyl figure that Buff has produced himself and it looks fantastic. As Buff Monster explained, “I wanted to make a unique version of Mister Melty. A figure that was large, iconic and articulated (unlike any previous versions).”

This super-sized 10” Mister Melty is around twice the size of most of Buff’s resin figures, and over 3 times the height of the original soft Japanese vinyl versions. What’s really cool about this first colorway is that all of the pinks on this bad boy are custom Buff Monster pink colors.Buff painted squares of various pinks on a piece of paper and mailed it to the factory in China so that they knew exactly what he wanted.

Mutant Ape NFT Mural Print by Buff Monster

On an unusually warm day last week, Buff Monster painted a mural of a Mutant Ape NFT that he recently purchased. As Buff explained, “The response on social media has been totally insane; way more than I would have expected. Let's continue this experiment of taking a digital file into the physical world with the first print I’ve ever released of a mural!”

For this release, Buff Monster took his medium format digital camera to shoot a super detailed photo of the Mutant Ape NFT mural, touched it up and prepared a very nice image of the mural. The Mutant Ape NFT Mural Print by Buff Monster is a 18”x18” (including a 1” boarder) signed and numbered print on photo paper. This will be a timed edition for 24 hours, so the run size will be set by the number of prints sold during that time frame. It is available now at StayMelty.com for $150.

“Euphoria" Screen Print by Buff Monster

Today, Buff Monster is trying a little experiment.  He’s releasing his cool new artwork “Euphoria” in three different formats all at the same time! “Euphoria” will be available as a painting, an NFT and a screen print with 2 different colorways. They are three unique and totally independent pieces and hopefully there’s something for everyone!

Bronze Liberty Sculpture and Screen Print by Buff Monster

To celebrate July 4th, Buff Monster is releasing this insane new Bronze Liberty Sculpture!  Buff has been working on this new statue – his first bronze sculpture – for a year now. As Buff explained, “This figure is near and dear to my heart, as it expresses my optimism and reminds us of the highest ideals that we can aspire to. This bronze version takes the figure to a whole other level, referencing the iconic statue and my undying love of heavy metal.” 

Bronze Liberty by Buff Monster measures 10.5” x 6.5” x 4.5” and features Buff’s signature stamped on its underside.  The statue are solid metal (meaning they’re very heavy) and are limited to just 20 pieces. But that’s not all! Just like the first colorway of the Liberty sculpture, Buff Monster will be releasing a new Liberty screen print at the same time. This second colorway of the Liberty screen print will be available in a new colorway with a larger run size so that more people can get one. This edition is super bright and summary and will be limited to 200 pieces. It is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screen print, which will retail for $100.

Buff Monster is releasing a new resin figure today – Liberty – and to commemorate the figure’s release Buff is also releasing this matching screen print.  The Blot’s a big fan of Buff’s newest character, which is a Melty Misfits version of The Statue of Liberty.  As Buff explained, “Even though the figures are painted in a variety of colors, I wanted to get back to a simplified color palette of pinks and grays.”  What’s not to love about that classic Buff Monster pink!?!

Liberty Resin Figure by Buff Monster

To commemorate the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States Joe Biden, Buff Monster is releasing his newest resin figure – Liberty!  As Buff explained, “In these unique times, this figure reminds us of the highest ideals that we can aspire to. This is my first new figure in years and it’s a perfect expression of my tireless optimism and commitment to be a positive force in the world.”

Each hand painted Liberty figure will feature a unique one of a kind paint scheme using a variety of paints and techniques. As Buff explained, “the black and white artwork on top balances the very colorful cards in the background.”
