DCon Exclusive Down Low Despair Mini Figure by Adam Quesnell

It’s been a while since Adam Quesnell and Stand Up! Records have released a Despair mini figure colorway, but that changes later this month at Designer Con 2016! Although Quesnell won’t have a booth, he’s heading to DCon and bringing with him 5 beautifully marbled neon green and purple “Down Low” Despair mini figures. Despair is a demon that was banished from Hell for being too much of a bummer and now he travels the Midwest as a stand-up comedian.

Each Designer Con 2016 Exclusive Down Low Despair mini figure comes bagged with a header card designed by Josh Trumbo and Terry Brown.  This awesome figure can only be purchased by tracking down Quesnell at DCon where he will be selling these on the “down low” out of his back pack! Despair was designed by Terry Brown II, Sculpted by October Toys, and cast in Keshi style rubber by Tru:Tek. These 3” harbingers of a driven laughter will cost $25 and come with a download code for Quesnell’s album, “Can We Afford This Much Despair?” from Stand Up! Records inside the header. This is one of only two final rubber Despair releases, so don’t miss out.

Spectral Glow Halloween Despair Mini Figure by Adam Quesnell

Adam Quesnell and Stand Up! Records are celebrating the 1 year anniversary of Despair (and Halloween) by releasing a super limited edition of 5 Spectral Glow Despair resin mini figures this morning, October 31st, at 6:66am. For this special Halloween release, Tru:Tek cooked up a candy corn inspired orange, yellow and white glow in the dark color scheme.

Despair is designed by Terence Brown II and sculpted by October Toys. For this release, Josh Trumbo has provided Quesnell a special Halloween header card, which includes a download code for Quesnell’s album, Can We Afford This Much Despair. Purchase one now at the FAQ Comedy online store for $25.

Despair is a demon from the 10th Circle of Hell - the level where people who make bad cinematic adaptations of classic toy properties are flayed for eternity. The Blot was recently introduced to Adam Quesnell’s hard rocking keshi mini figure, Despair! Designed by Terence Brown II, prototyped by October Toys and cast by Tru:Tek, Despair is a 3” M.U.S.C.L.E. inspired mini figure. Produced by Adam’s music label Stand Up! Records, Despair is being released this Friday in a very special soft pink Valentine’s Day Edition colorway.
