Mondo Is Releasing 2 New Matt Taylor Movie Posters - Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy & Fight Club

Today, Mondo has an awesome double feature of movie posters by artist Matt Taylor for a pair of films adapted from a pair of novels – Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and Fight Club! The Blot just learned that for the last ten years, Matt has worked with Penguin Random House on exquisitely illustrated covers for John le Carré novels, and late last year Mondo learned he had worked with StudioCanal on the cover art for the 10th anniversary 4K Blu-ray release, which has not been transformed into a killer new screen print poster for the film!

As for the Fight Club piece, as Mondo explained “Most people know the first rule of Fight Club, but not a lot are as familiar with the 9th rule: When Matt does one Fight Club poster, ask him to do a companion piece four years later for the other main character. Alright, we made that up. Fight us.” Both movie posters will go on sale at 11amCT on Thursday, January 20th, at MondoShop.com via The Drop for $50 each.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy by Matt Taylor is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print limited to 200 pieces.

Fight Club by Matt Taylor is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print limited to 175 pieces.

Mondo will be releasing the remaining run of these Matt Taylor Fight Club posters – which features a secret glow in the dark layer – later today!

This week WheresChappell has put up for pre-sale another new figure in his fantastic line of pop culture inspired resin figures, which features some of The Blot’s favorite characters rocking classic sneakers (or shoes). WheresChappell’s newest figure is Brad Pitt’s Tyler Durden from the cult classic film (based on the Chuck Palahniuk novel) Fight Club!
