Five Points Fest 2024 Exclusive Sandotron First Edition Vinyl Figure by Pachi Zone x UhOh Toys

This weekend at Five Points Fest 2024, UhOh Toys will be releasing the First Edition Sandotron vinyl figure, the first new figure under the artist’s new Pachi Zone imprint.  Sandotron is a 20cm (~8”) pachi robot made of soft Japanese vinyl.  What a fun new figure featuring lots of different sprays and a metallic sticker on its belly.  I especially love the old school plastic box packaing. Collectors can purchase it this weekend at the UhOh Toys FPF booth #H23.

This weekend at Five Points Fest 2024, myplasticheart is releasing this FPF Exclusive Mr Puff Cherry Vanilla Edition Vinyl Figure by Andrea Kang! Manufactured by Squibbles Ink, the Cherry Vanilla colorway features Mr Puff cast in a cherry pink and glow in the dark vinyl swirl and features black, white and purple detailing. Five Points Fest 2024 Exclusive OG GID Rose Vampire, Carlton & Bat Boy Vinyl Figures by Super7

This weekend at Five Points Fest 2024, Super7 is resurrecting its original (and super popular) glow in the dark colorway for three very special exclusives! At FPF, Super7 will be releasing the Glow in the Dark Rose Vampire, Bat Boy and Carlton. Each figure is cast in glow in the dark soft Japanese vinyl with blue spray and red details. Super7 is going super old school with their last two Rose Vampire and Carlton releases, first with the Skulletor release and now with this OG GID edition.

Bat Boy stands 6” tall, while the Rose Vampire by Josh Herbolsheimer stands 4” tall and the Kandy Kaiju Carlton is 3” tall. All three figures can be purchased at the Super7 Five Points Festival booth #B27.

The Blot was pumped to learn that not only will Super7 be at Five Points Fest 2023 in NYC this weekend, but they’re bringing new sofubi!!!! Check out the beautiful Green Flash Mummy Boy and Fresh Cut Rose Vampire. It’s been years (2021 in fact) since we’ve gotten a new colorway of S7’s 6” mascot size Mummy Boy or 4” Monster Family RV. No details on price, yet but I need a Rose Vampire for my collection!  Who’s got the hook up!?!?! Hopefully some will show up at Super7.com after the convention.

The 10th Annual Designer Toy Awards Nominations Are Now Open!

The Designer Toy Awards are back and better than ever! Celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, the DTAs are now accepting nominations from the general public in 15 exciting categories. Presented by Clutter Magazine, the Designer Toy Awards is an annual event honoring excellence and innovation in the field of Designer Toys. With categories like Breakthrough Artist, Toy of the Year and Artist of the Year (among many others) the DTAs highlight the year’s best designs, concepts and accomplishments by both veterans and newcomers in the diverse world of Designer Toys.

Head on over to the Designer Toy Awards website and answer their “Call For Entries” by adding those worthy from 2019, and don't forget... only nominated items can be considered for the awards. If you want your work to be considered please nominate it, nominations are confidential and there is no shame in nominating yourself or your own product.

So from now until 6pm EST on March 3, 2020, nominations can be submitted through DesignerToyAwards.com. This year’s awards will consider nominations for releases, artists, companies and media outlets that were active from January 1st, 2019 to December 31st, 2019. Start Nominating Now!
