Funko has announced a new toy line of Star Wars Mystery Minis, and they’re kicking things off with a blind box series based on Episode IV: A New Hope! The Star Wars: A New Hope Mystery Minis Series includes 2.5” vinyl figures of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, C-3PO, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Grand Moff Tarkin, Hammerhead, Snaggletooth, Ponda Baba, Greedo, Shadow Trooper and Jawa. The odd thing is the inclusion of a Shadow Trooper considering no Shadow Trooper ever appeared in Episode IV.

The Blot loves Flat Bonnie’s convention exclusive Star Wars themed plushes! So I was excited to learn she’s teaming up with DKE Toys to release the New York Comic Con 2016 Exclusive JaWabbit, which is the Flat Bonnie rabbit cosplaying as a Jawa from Star Wars. Star Wars Tsum Tsum Tatooine Plush Collection by Disney

Yesterday Disney released its fourth wave of Star Wars Tsum Tsum plushes based on the iconic original film, Episode IV: A New Hope! The Force is definitely strong in these stackably soft collectible plush figures. The Star Wars Tsum Tsum Tatooine Plush Collection includes Obi-Wan Kenobi, Greedo, Jawa, Tusken Raider, Sandtrooper and a Dewback.

All of these awesome Star Wars Tsum Tsum Series 4 Plushes are available now in the popular 3.5” mini size at DisneyStore.com and Disney Store retail locations for $5.95. The Blot got to see these super cute plushes in person last month at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 and they looked fantastic! So get out there and start your very own Star Wars Tsum Tsum collection.

Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4

Disney released Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4 earlier this summer, but you can still find some blind boxes at Disney Stores everywhere! Series 3 is based entirely on Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and is chock full of characters we first met on Hoth and Cloud City. The Blot’s especially excited about all the bounty hunters in this set! Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4 is a limited edition release sold blind box style beginning for $12.95 each.

Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4 includes Hoth Luke Skywalker, Hoth Han Solo, Tauntaun, Bespin Leia Organa, Dagobah R2-D2, Snowtrooper, Ugnaught, Bossk, Dengar, 4-Lom and Zuckuss. Rumor has it there are two mystery chasers, a “Wampa Attacked” Hoth Luke Skywalker and a Wampa.

Series 4 looks great, what The Blot is really excited about is the Boba Fett Combo Topper Pack, which includes an ESB Boba Fett with the all white “Prototype” Boba Fett based on the designs by Ralph McQuarrie. This open run release went on sale July 4th and retails for $24.95.

Next up is the Luke and Yoda 2 pack, which includes a full sized Luke 3” Vinylmation figure with a Yoda 1.5” Vinylmaton Jr. figure. Designed by Casey Jones, this set is limited to just 2,000 pieces and retails for $29.95.

Disney is also releasing its second 9” Star Wars Vinylmation figure. The Rancor 9” Star Wars Vinylmation figure from Return of the Jedi includes a 3” Rancor Keeper Vinylmation figure, has a limited edition run size of 1,000 figures and retails for $59.95.

Another Star Wars Vinylmation tie-in release is this Hologram Emperor Palpatine 3” Vinylmation. It is limited to 2,000 pieces and retails for $16.95 each.

Last but not least is the Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope Vinylmation 2 Pack featuring a Jawa and R5-D4 astromech droid. These 3” figure set is limited to 2,000 pieces and retails for $29.95 per set. All of these awesome Star Wars figures were released over the past few months and may still be available at select Disney stores worldwide. Happy hunting Vinylmation fans!

Jeremy the Jawa Star Wars Resin Figure by UME Toys

After the success of UME Toys’ adorable GeekWok the Ewok resin figures comes Jeremy the Jawa! Based on a one of a kind custom figure UME Toys released last year, Jeremy the Jawa is an adorable take on the classic Star Wars alien. I especially love this little chunky version of Jeremy’s eyes, which were cast in clear yellow resin with a glow in the dark powder. What a cool effect!

Jeremy the Jawa stands approximately 3” tall and goes up for pre-order at the UME Toys online store next Friday, February 14th at 9:00pm GMT for around £32. In honor of Valentine’s Day UME Toys has decided to add a little something special to this release. If you adopt a Jeremy within the pre-order window you will automatically be entered into their Valentine’s Day drawing for a chance to win a special one-off custom “Loved Up” Edition Jeremy in pink and red.

Toy Review: Mutant Jawa Resin Figure by Killer Bootlegs

A few weeks ago The Blot blogged about Killer Bootlegs newest kitbashed resin figure, the Mutant Jawa. Well, I was lucky enough to get my hands on one a few days before their release this weekend and let me tell you it’s pretty awesome! It is made from a vintage Jawa and a vintage Yoda mashed together to create a new race of Mutant Jawas. The figure is extremely clean and the mold lines are almost nonexistent. But what really puts this figure over the top is the little monster’s bootleg vinyl cape! Not only is it excellently made, it looks just like those crappy capes from Kenner’s original Star Wars line.

So at this point you’re probably asking where can I get one of these little Mutant Jawas to add to my collection? Well, here’s the awesome part of this release: Killer Bootlegs will be crashing Wizard World's Chicago Comic-Con (August 9th-12th) and handing out 100 FREE Mutant Jawas, most of which will be random one off colorways and clear variants! How cool is that? Each figure will come bagged with a Wizard World Chicago Exclusive header and all you have to do to get one is track down a Killer Bootleg crew member (who will be wearing Killer Bootleg gear) at WW Chicago this weekend.

Star Wars Pop! Series 3 Vinyl Figures by Funko

Funko’s long rumored third wave of Star Wars Pop! Vinyl Figure Bobble Heads are almost here and it is stacked, especially if you love aliens! Star Wars Pop! Series 3 includes Jabba the Hut, Slave Leia, X-Wing Pilot Luke Skywalker, a Jawa, a Tusken Raider, and something for all the youngsters out there, a Clone Trooper. This is a killer line-up and The Blot can’t wait to get my hands on a Jabba bobble head! I just wish he came with a mini Salacious B. Crumb.

Star Wars Pop! Vinyl Figure Bobble Heads Series 3 won’t hit store shelves until July 2012, but you can pre-order all six figures from Entertainment Earth here for $9.99 each.

Star Wars Shop Exclusive Garden Jawa Statue

I have to say, this might be the first item I’ve ever featured here on The Blot Says… that I would considered purchasing for my mom! She’s a big Star Wars fan, and the Garden Jawa would go great with the random collection of creatures she has displayed throughout her front yard, garden and forest area.

The Star Wars Shop exclusive Garden Jawa retails for $34.99 each, and is currently available for pre-order here. The Garden Jawa can be delivered worldwide (except in Mexico) and is expected to ship on December 9, 2009, just in time for the holidays!
