Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 2 Teaser Television Series Poster by Joe Quesada

At New York Comic Con 2017, Marvel and Netflix released this beautiful new one sheet poster for Jessica Jones Season 2 by Joe Quesada! The Blot’s a huge fan of Marvel’s Alias comic book series and I really enjoyed the Netflix series it is based on. Plus how can you not love more original artwork by comic book legend Quesada! He really needs to do a book again. I am really excited to see where Jessica Jones Season 2 takes its uniquely damaged cast of characters. Netflix will be releasing Jessica Jones Season 2 for our binging pleasure in 2018.

Marvel's The Defenders Television Series Teaser Posters

Netflix’s newest live action Marvel series, The Defenders, is here and it’s going to be HUGE! That’s because The Defenders is the series we’ve all been waiting for – a team featuring the entire Netflix Marvel Universe. This team of super heroes has it all, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist! Might Elodie Yung’s Elektra even make an appearance!?! All that’s missing is The Punisher. As much as The Blot’s excited to see The Defenders, I’m equally excited to see what comes out of this series as the show has been coined the end of phase 1 of Netflix’s Marvel Television Universe.

On August 18, 2017, Marvel will be releasing its fifth television series on Netflix, The Defenders! This exciting new show will feature Netflix’s entire Marvel Television Universe teaming-up to fight crime in New York City, including Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock, Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn Jones’ Iron Fist. At San Diego Comic-Con 2017 next week, Marvel will be giving away this pretty cool SDCC exclusive The Defenders Season 1 teaser poster by Marvel’s TV Creative Director Joshua James Shaw. Marvel will be giving this poster away for free at their SDCC booth #2329 during the show’s cast signing on Saturday, July 22nd, at 10 am PST.

After many teases, hints and sneak peeks, Funko Funatics everywhere have finally gotten their first look at the upcoming Jessica Jones Pop! Marvel vinyl figure…and it’s all thanks to Hot Topic! Based on the popular live action Netflix television series, this upcoming member of The Defenders can finally officially join Funko’s epic Marvel Cinematic Universe Pop! Series. Is it just me or does this Jessica Jones Pop! look just like the show’s star, Krysten Ritter?

Marvel’s Daredevil, Luke Cage & Jessica Jones Screen Prints by Matthew Woodson x Mondo

The minute The Blot saw Matthew Woodson's beautiful artwork for the Luke Cage, Daredevil and Jessica Jones vinyl soundtracks, I instantly hoped Mondo would also release it as a series of screen prints. I even made a plea to Woodson on Instagram! Thankfully Mondo had the same thought, and at a random time today, Wednesday, November 10th, they’ll be releasing this awesome poster set at the Mondo online store.  These striking posters will look seriously amazing as a set on somebody's wall, don't you think!?!

Daredevil and Luke Cage are 18”x24” hand numbered screen prints, while Jessica Jones is a 24”x18” hand numbered screen print. Each poster is limited to 250 pieces and will retail for $45. What’s even cooler, is that all three of The Defenders screen prints will feature a layer of spot varnish to bring different elements of the illustration to life.

Marvel's Daredevil & Jessica Jones Season 1 Soundtrack Vinyl Record LPs by Matthew Woodson & Mondo

Following the release of Marvel’s Luke Cage Netflix series season 1 soundtrack on vinyl a few weeks ago, Mondo is now releasing the soundtracks for season 1 of Marvel’s Daredevil and Jessica Jones Netflix series on vinyl as well with matching cover artwork by Matthew Woodson! These designs by Woodson are fantastic and The Blot would love to see their striking images released as standalone screen prints. Both LPs go on sale at noon CST this Wednesday, November 9th, at the Mondo online store.

Marvel’s Daredevil Season One Original Soundtrack LP ($25) with music by John Paesano and artwork by Matthew Woodson is pressed on 180 gram red vinyl and limited to 3,000 copies. John Paesano's score for Marvel’s Daredevil Season One had the unenviable task of setting the tone for Netflix’ new Marvel television universe. Right from the opening credits Paesano creates a powerful sense of urgency and an undercurrent of darkness, crafting some of the most kinetic musical sequences in the Marvel Cinematic Universe including the bombastic tracks “Hallway Fight” and “Stick”.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones Alias Inspired Character TV Posters by David Mack

Ok, I don’t actually know that these amazing Marvel’s Jessica Jones one sheet television posters were designed by acclaimed artist David Mack, but whoever did it clearly was drawing inspiration (if not outright copied) Mack’s amazing run of covers for the Alias comic book series upon which this TV show is based. They’re fantastic right!?! Each poster focuses upon one of the show’s two central characters, hero Jessica Jones (aka Jewel) portrayed by Krysten Ritter and the evil Kilgrave the Purple Man portrayed by Doctor Who’s David Tennant. The Blot could seriously stare at these for days.

It has now been a full weekend since Jessica Jones started streaming Netflix and The Blot is dying to know what everyone thinks! I haven’t had an opportunity to watch it yet, but from all reports it’s a huge hit. It sounds like critics and fans alike are enjoying Jessica Jones even more than Netflix’s first Marvel show Daredevil. I just hope this isn’t the last we see of Tennant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ve now see two different former Doctors play villains in the MCU, any guesses as to which former Doctor Who actor will show up next!?!

NYCC Exclusive Marvel's Jessica Jones Concept Art Poster by Alex Maleev

At New York Comic Con 2015 earlier today, during Marvel and Netflix’s panel spotlighting their upcoming television series Jessica Jones and Daredevil Season 2, fans were given this awesome Jessica Jones Season 1 Production Concept Art Poster by Alex Maleev! The poster features Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones giving out her business card for her Alias Investigations. At least they’ve kept the Alias in the name of her detective agency! While The Blot prefers my Alias covers and posters to be drawn by David Mack, Maleev did an excellent job with this New York Comic Con 2015 exclusive poster.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones Season 1 will debut November 20th on Netflix, and The Blot can’t wait!
