With Star Wars: The Last Jedi just a few weeks away, Bottleneck Gallery wanted to revisit the last Star Wars film, Rogue One, with artist Kilian Eng! Eng is known for his spectacular takes on sci-fi films and scenery and this Rogue One poster is a real beauty! This screen print features one of the most tense battle scenes in all of Star Wars, the Battle of Scarif. The Aliens Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Vinyl Record was composed and conducted by James Horner and pressed on 180 Gram Queen (blue and black swirl) vs. Power Loader (yellow with black stripe) colored vinyl. Both releases are available only at Mondo’s SDCC booth.

Flash Gordon Screen Print by Kilian Eng

Kilian Eng always creates the most epic of sci-fi movie posters, and with Flash Gordon, his latest release from Mondo, he really shows his mastery of color and otherworldly landscape. The Blot loves how Eng has perfectly recreated a key scene from the cult classic film and was able to bring it to life in his unique style.

As Kilian explains, “Flash Gordon is a film with a lot of nostalgic value for me so it was a great pleasure to get the opportunity to create a poster for it. What I love most is the total explosion of color, creative costumes and stunning set design. The film has a unique charm that you can't replicate no matter how hard you try. It’s a sci-fi disco adventure full of energy. The scene I wanted to work with is the whip fight between Flash Gordon and Prince Barin in the Hawkmen’s flying palace. It offered the opportunity for a good solid composition and gave me a chance to draw a lot of characters/costumes and the setting together in a natural way.”
