ED-209 features an exploded cannon on one arm, and scars from its top-floor battle with Robocop, who also features cracked and damaged armor.

RoboCop Metallic Movie Poster Screen Print by Mike Bryan x Justin Ishmael x Bottleneck Gallery

Here’s some really cool news Justin Ishmael dropped on his Instagram page yesterday! The classic RoboCop theatrical one sheet movie poster from the ‘80s is not a photograph but a hyper-realistic painting by artist Mike Bryan. Ishmael teamed up with Bottleneck Gallery to track the original painting down, scan it and turn it into a beautiful new metallic screen print! You can see in the photo below Ishmael with the framed original RoboCop painting.

As Ishmael explained, “This photo is me with the framed original art and it was beautiful (and massive)! You can trust that this will be unlike any other poster out there and will hopefully allow you to see new details as a clean version of the painting hasn't been available before!” For this release there will be a Movie Poster Edition and an Art Print Edition, along with Metallic Variants of both editions, and all four versions feature metallic paper variants.

Thanks to Slashfilm we now know more about this release: RoboCop by Mike Bryan is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print with metallic inks. The Regular Movie Poster Edition will be a timed edition available for 24 hours that retails for $50, while the Metallic Variant Movie Poster Edition will be printed on silver foil paper, limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $75.

The Art Print Edition is limited to 150 pieces and retails for $75, while the Metallic Variant Art Print will be printed on silver foil paper, limited to just 75 pieces, and will retail for $85. All four versions will go on sale at 12pm EST today, Tuesday, March 19th, at the Bottleneck Gallery online store.

Robocop Screen Print by Ruiz Burgos x Grey Matter Art

Grey Matter Art has teamed up with artist Ruiz Burgos to produce a new officially licensed, limited edition screen print for the Paul Verhoeven 80’s classic action film, Robocop. As GMA explained, “We have been very impressed by Ruiz’s work and were so happy to hear he wanted to create a poster for such a beloved movie of ours. It has been a pleasure working with him on this and we think he really captured Peter Weller's character as a true protector over the seedy dystopian backdrop of Detroit.”

Yesterday, Grey Matter Art announced a second batch of New York Comic Con 2018 exclusive prints, including this rad Robocop poster by Juan Esteban Rodriguez! Pop CultJerks T-Shirt Collection by Alex Pardee

Artist Alex Pardee has released a new collection of pop culture inspired t-shirt designs in his signature macabre style entitled “Pop CultJerks”. As Alex explained, it’s him “Having Fun With What I Love” while “Making Fun Of What You Love”, which is actually a pretty cool take on the pop culture genre. The Blot loves how Pardee has reimagined some of the most popular characters from the last 30 years, and..well..kills them. LOL! Later today, Mondo will be releasing a gritty new poster for RoboCop by Josan Gonzalez! RoboCop Screen Print by Anthony Petrie

Skuzzles' first limited edition screen print movie poster of 2016 is RoboCop by Anthony Petrie, a design they’ve been trying to produce since last spring! Petrie and Skuzzles really wanted to include some iconic characters from the film, but ran into issues with likeness and so the poster’s initial release was delayed. After several months, they were finally able to negotiate the use of the likeness for Kurtwood Smith's character Clarence Boddicker thanks for Kurtwood himself!

Classic Sci-Fi Mystery Minis Blind Box Series by Funko

Funko has announced their newest line of Mystery Minis blind box series, and it has to be setting some kind of record for most licensed properties ever in a blind box toy line! The Classic Sci-Fi Mystery Minis Series includes adorable 2.5” versions of iconic characters from science fiction movies and television shows such as Predator, Alien, Mars Attacks Alien, Judge Dredd, Robby the Robot, Robocop, Star Trek’s Spock, B-9 from Lost in Space, Tron, Metaluna Mutant, E.T., The Rocketeer, and Mal and Jayne from Firefly/Serenity!

The Classic Sci-Fi Mystery Minis Series also includes a couple of sweet glow in the dark, clear, metallic and blood splattered variants. While most figures have a 1/12 ratio, there are a few harder to find designs that feature 1/36 and 1/72 ratios making this one of the harder Mystery Minis Series to complete.
