RSD 2015 Exclusive The LEGO Movie Soundtrack Picture Disc Vinyl Record by SPACELAB9

Yesterday, Record Store Day announced their long list of RSD 2015 exclusives, which included this awesome limited edition picture disc variant for SPACELAB9’s The Lego Movie Soundtrack Double LP! The double LP album, which features the Oscar nominated song “Everything is Awesome” by Tegan and Sara with The Lonely Island, is packaged in a double-wide, LEGO “brick” die cut jacket and also includes an exclusive bonus full color 18”x24” poster featuring the LEGO Record Store diorama built and photographed by artist Ryan Howerter.

The Record Store Day 2015 Exclusive The LEGO Movie Soundtrack Picture Disc Vinyl Record by SPACELAB9 includes two 12” picture disc vinyl records and is limited to just 2,000 pieces. The LEGO Movie Screen Print by Tom Whalen

Last Friday Mondo sent fans worldwide scrambling when they unexpectedly released this beautiful movie poster for The LEGO Movie by Tom Whalen! While The Blot hasn’t seen this CG animated film yet, I hear it’s freaking awesome! It sounds like everyone, both kids and adults alike, are loving this movie. And how great is Tom Whalen’s design!?! I especially love all the LEGO mini figures included in the poster’s design, like DC Comics’ Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

The LEGO Movie by Tom Whalen is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. It has a limited edition run size of 475 prints and retailed for just $45 when it went on sale Friday, February 7th, at the Mondo online store. Unfortunately this bad boy sold out almost instantly upon release.
