NYCC 13 Exclusive Yellow Edition Zombie Gooo! by VISEone
After teasing a new release for months, VISEone will be releasing the first colorway of Zombie Gooo!, his newest Tube Monster, exclusively at New York Comic Con 2013! The Zombie Gooo! is an 8” vinyl figure that looks eerily similar to The Addams Family’s Thing, except he lives in a paint tube instead of a box. The Blot is pretty pumped VISEone is continuing his Tube Monster series, and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with next.
For New York Comic Con VISEone will be releasing this undead hand in an exclusive Yellow Edition colorway sold exclusively at the Tenacious Collective booth #208. Limited to just 100 pieces, the NYCC 2013 Exclusive Yellow Edition Zombie Gooo! vinyl figure will retail for just $40 each.

Hulk “Comic Stripped” 10” Custom Mad’l by VISEone
After a much too long hiatus, talented German artist VISEone has finally revisited his popular Comic Stripped custom vinyl figure series! As a sequel of sorts to his OG Hulk Comic Stripped Mad’l from back in 2010, this all new Hulk Mad’l stays true to the concept of the original but is still one of a kind. The Blot especially loves how VISEone was able to incorporate so many different versions of Marvel’s green goliath into this figure’s collage. Here’s hoping there are more Comic Stripped figures in the works!

NYCC 2012 Debut: Tube Monsters by VISEone!
Next month at New York Comic-Con 2012 VISEone will be debuting his first original figure, the Tube Monster! Based on his popular series of tube custom vinyl figures, it was only fitting that VISEone’s first original production piece be his very own Tube Monster. This 3.5” injection mold vinyl figure will be released in three exciting colorways: the green Zombie Juice Edition, the red Tomato Edition and the appropriately named Black Edition.
All three Tube Monster colorways have limited edition run sizes of 330 pieces, and come packaged in full color window boxes. Look for these cute little Tube Monsters to be popping up at designer art toy retailers worldwide towards the end of September, or at Tenacious Toys NYCC booth #3121 if you’re attending New York Comic-Con where VISEone will be holding a very special signing in honor of this figure’s release.

Coming Soon: VISEone's Tube Monster Vinyl Figure!
The more I see of VISEone’s Tube Monster, the German artist’s first original vinyl figure, the more The Blot wants one! With its release scheduled for late September, VISEone gave us our first look at the figure’s first three through Instagram and his newsletter. First up is the green Zombie Juice Edition Tube Monster, followed by the red Tomato Edition and the all black Black Edition.
These 3.5” vinyl figures are produced by Flying LuLu and will make their debut at New York Comic-Con 2012, where VISEone will be on hand for a signing at Tenacious Toys’ NYCC booth. After that, look for the Tube Monster to invade designer toy stores worldwide later this year!

First Look: Tube Monster Vinyl Figure by VISEone
VISEone is about to launch an all new toy line based on his popular dripping tube customs. Since VISEone started with his tube custom concept, he was hoping to be able to release his own character dripping out of a tube one day. Thankfully for VISEone’s fans, that day is finally here! The German artist is teaming up with Flying LuLu to produce the 8” Tube Monster prototypes you see above.
There are still some corrections that need to be made before it's ready for the wax model, but it looks like things are full steam ahead! The first Tube Monster colorway is the Zombie Juice Edition, which will tentatively be released at New York Comic-Con 2012. After that, who knows what awesome colorways might be in the works! Until we can see the final product, check out the 3D model and preliminary sculpts above, as well as the figure’s official packaging artwork.

“Dreams in Focus - a Vinyl Toy & Photography Expo" presented by Vinyl Destination
Vinyl Destination, South Africa's favorite online designer vinyl toy store, is proud to announce its first custom toy show "Dreams In Focus". Not only is it Vinyl Destination’s first custom show, it is also South Africa's first custom toy show featuring a roster of 5 local South African artists and 5 international artists. This is a really unique show in that each artist will be customizing both a 4" toy and a Lomography camera, bringing together the wonderful world of designer vinyl and photography! The custom set will then be completed by an A4 1/1 print, which will make the result a fantastic 3 piece collectors set that fans from both the vinyl toy and photography scene would love to own.
Be sure to check out Vinyl Destination’s blog each day this week to find out the roster of South African artists involved with “Dreams In Focus,” and then head over to The Blot Says, Trampt, Clutter Magazine, ToysREvil, and SpankyStokes because each website will be announcing one of the international artists participating in the show exclusively on their blogs! The Blot is proud to be involved with the unveiling of this show, and I’m excited to announce that ViseONE, along with South African artist Brent Black, are the first two artists participating in “Dreams in Focus”!!!
If you’ve been following the designer toy scene at all then you’re definitely familiar with German artist ViseONE’s work! He’s been releasing amazing customs for years now, with fans salivating over his trademark “Comic Stripped” and “Tube Dunny” customs. I can only imagine what ViseONE’s got in store for “Dreams in Focus”! You can find out more about Brent Black by reading Vinyl Destination's bio of the artist here.
“Dreams in Focus” will take place throughout the month of July in Cape Town, South Africa at Exposure Gallery, with all proceeds from the show’s sales being donated to the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. What a great event and a great cause!!!

Domy Books was packed Saturday night, and The Blot was on hand with my Flip and camera to document the evening. While I was really excited to do some live reporting, let me just warn you…I’m not quite as good with the video camera as I thought I would be. Then again, it was fun putting together the first TheBlotSays.com video!

The art exhibit features custom toys by Abe Lincoln Jr., Ack!, Andrew Shondrick, Anville, Babyvtec, BALD, Brett Osborne, Chauskoskis, Christian Navarrette, Daniel Anguilu, Evoker, Fried Gold Productions, Ian Ziobrowski, Igor Ventura, James Fuller, Jay Bramhall, Jeremiah Ketner, Julie Truong, George Lamontagne, Lara Slater, Luihz Unreal, Martin Hsu, Matt Anderson.
