A few weeks ago at Design Festa, Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys secretly released a five piece set of “X-Ray” Ugly Unicorns. These “X-Ray” Uglies were made from crystal clear Japanese vinyl and were filled with hand sprayed stenciled skeletons on thin sheets of vinyl. While these awesome Ugly Unicorns sold out extremely quickly, thankfully The Blot was able to add one to my quickly growing Ugly Unicorn collection! Because of that I can now share these photos of one of the original 5 “X-Ray” Ugly Unicorns. Pretty sweet dontcha think?
For those of you drooling over my Crystal Clear Ugly, fear not! Rumor has it Jon is already hard at work on another set of five skeletal Uglies for Superfestival. If you aren't able to attend SF in Japan, any leftovers will be available first to the Ugly Unicorn mailing list, and after that they will go up on the Rampage Toys online store.
