Somehow the hiatuses between seasons of AMC’s hit show The Walking Dead keep feeling shorter. I guess it is because AMC was smart enough to split up their short 16 episode seasons into two 8 episode mini-seasons. The first Season 4 banner is nothing all that special, Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes walking out of the prison’s broken fence. But the show’s teaser banner is all kinds of awesome!
It features newcomer Chad L. Coleman’s Tyreese fighting off a whole heard of walkers with his signature hammer, Lincoln’s Grimes and Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon look generally bad ass, and Danai Gurira’s Michonne on horseback ready to inflict serious damage on some walkers. If this doesn’t get you excited for Season 4 nothing will!
The Walking Dead Season 4 premieres on Sunday, October 13th on AMC at 9/8c.
