Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Screen Print by Matt Ferguson x Bottleneck Gallery

The Blot loves artist Matt Ferguson’s series of alternative movie posters for the Star Wars movie universe. So I was really excited to learn Matt was teaming with Bottleneck Gallery once again to release his awesome new movie poster for The Mandalorian and Grogu! I know the film has gotten some mixed reviews, but I really enjoyed a big screen / big budget adventure with Mando and Grogu through the Star Wars galaxy.

As BNG explained, “The Mandalorian and Grogu film finally blasts onto the big screen, and we’re celebrating with an officially licensed screen print from Matt. Matt is one of our resident Star Wars experts, and we’re thoroughly excited by his take on Din and Grogu’s massive adventure! The Mandalorian and Grogu by Matt Ferguson is a 24”x36” hand numbered Star Wars screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 200 pieces and will retail for $60, while the Beskar Variant on foil paper is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $70. But that’s not all! There is also an Acrylic Panel Edition on a 4mm thick acrylic panel with archival pigment inks, which is limited to 75 pieces and will retail for $125. And for fans of UK style quad movie posters there’s the massive 40”x30” Quad Edition fine art giclee print, which is limited to 100 pieces and will retail for $100. Batman: The Animated Series Mr. Freeze: Heart of Ice Statue, Snow Globes & Mini Print by Raid71 x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery will be releasing one of the coolest Batman: The Animated Series statues The Blot has ever seen! For this release, BNG has teamed up with artist Raid71 to produce a beautiful Mr. Freeze: Heart of Ice statue and snow globe combo. As Bottleneck Gallery explained, “Batman: The Animated Series took Batman’s rogues’ gallery, already a colorful cadre of top-tier villains, and injected each character with a brilliant backstory, creating some of our favorite versions of these villains to date. Mr. Freeze’s revamped origin from the series became a standout, and his debut episode “Heart of Ice” a beloved, classic episode. Victor Fries’ heartbreaking attempts to keep his terminally ill wife, Nora, alive provided a powerful pathos for the character, and made for a truly captivating character study.”

BNG went on to say “We’ve taken our love for B:TAS’s Mr. Freeze and created our most ambitious statue yet! Based on Raid71’s print from some years back, we worked with Raid and our design team to craft a 14 inch statue of Mr. Freeze holding a fully functional snow globe. Every detail in Mr. Freeze’s bust has been lovingly crafted based on his iconic B:TAS design, and each of the two snow globes pays homage to the original episode and Raid’s previous Mr. Freeze print.”

The Mr. Freeze: Heart of Ice Statue by Raid71 is a hand-painted The Batman: The Animated Series resin statue with interchangeable snow globes and a removable glass dome. It stands 14” tall and includes two 3.75” snow globes. Each statue also includes a Mr. Freeze: Heart of Ice Mini Print by Raid71, which the statue was based on.
