Teen Wolf “T.W.” Resin Figure by WheresChappell
After the HUGE success of WheresChappell’s McFly 85s Back to the Future II resin figure, the UK artist has expanded his epic line of Michael J. Fox inspired figures with “T.W.”!!! Based on the iconic 1985 film Teen Wolf, “T.W.” is WheresChappell’s version of Scott Howard in his classic Beavers basketball uniform rocking ADIDAS sneakers and holding a basketball. Does this new figure look spot on or what!?! It’s hard to believe this year marks the 30th anniversary of the film’s original theatrical release.
Each “T.W.” stands approximately 7.5” tall and retails for just £15.99 at the Cracked Hatchet online store. There’s also an unpainted version available where the figure’s face and ears are not painted skin color, which is also available for £13.99.

The Hundreds x Adidas “The Bruder Pack” T-Shirt Collection
The Blot’s been really underwhelmed by the last few collaborations by The Hundreds (Death Row Records, really!?!). So much so I didn’t even blog about them. Thankfully, The Hundreds followed up those stinkers with this super clean and sleek looking The Hundreds x Adidas Collection. While the centerpiece of “The Bruder Pack” are the Stan Smith Vulc sneakers The Hundreds designed, The Blot wants to focus on these awesome black and white The Hundreds x Adidas t-shirts! The Bruder Pack takes its name from the German word for “brother,” and is themed around the partnership and family bond behind The Hundreds brand.
I love these tees for their simplicity, and I think The Hundreds x Adidas Collection mashed-up logos looks freaking awesome! I love how they incorporated Adidas’ iconic old school trefoil logo (now used for the Adidas Originals brand) into The Hundreds’ bomb logo. You can pick up The Hundreds x Adidas The Bruder Pack T-Shirt Collection and so much more at The Hundreds online store and select retailers worldwide. The three tees come in sizes S-XL and retail for between $28-32.

The Muppets Edition adidas Originals Sneaker Collection
It’s been a while since The Blot blogged about pop culture inspired sneakers, but that long hiatus ends today thanks to my Twitter buddy Alyssa (aka @KennerSeasWees)! I had heard about these Muppet edition adidas sneakers a while back but didn’t realize until yesterday (thanks to Alyssa) that they had already dropped at adidas Originals stores and online! First up is the Muppet edition adidas Superstar 2.0 Kermit sneakers, which feature a soft suede upper, the iconic adidas Superstar shell toe and Kermit the Frog's unmistakable collar over the tongue in honor of the “Original Hip-Hop” artist. I especially love the Kermit sockliners on the inside of this shoe.
Next up is Muppet edition adidas Originals adiRise 2.0 Animal sneakers, named for everyone’s favorite Muppet drummer from the Electric Mayhem! Based on the classic basketball shoe but inspired by the uncontrollable Muppet Animal, these men’s shoes get their rock 'n' roll on with a suede upper, studded ankle strap for Animal style, gold lace jewel with drumstick details, and a faux-fur lining inspired by Animal’s furry coat. The sneakers also feature an Animal print on the tongue and sockliner.
Both of these awesome Muppet inspired sneakers are available now directly from the adidas Originals online store and come packaged in a pretty cool Disney Muppets x adidas Originals box featuring the entire Muppets gang. The Superstar 2.0 Kermit sneakers can be purchased here for $80, while the adiRise 2.0 Animal sneakers can be purchased here for $100.

Star Wars x adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2010 Sneaker Collection
The adidas Originals x Star Wars Collection continues this fall/winter with five new Star Wars inspired sneakers from adidas. The first is the Han Solo SL-72 sneaker which is based on the scene in The Empire Strikes Back where Han is frozen in carbonite. It’s a pretty cool idea if you ask me, and the shoes actually come with a silver cover so you can freeze your sneakers in carbonite too!

While the Han Solo in Carbonite SL-72s are The Blot’s personal favorite, I’ve got a feeling a lot of Star Wars fans will be going crazy over the Droids Top Ten Low, which features the most popular droids in the galaxy, R2-D2 and C-3PO. Each sneaker is split down the middle, with the outside representing R2-D2’s blue, white and silver color scheme and the inside resembling C-3PO’s gold and black colors. If you notice in the photot, inside the adidas stripes you can see wiring that looks like 3PO’s midsection.

Rounding out the adidas Originals x Star Wars Fall/Winter 2010 sneaker collection is a green Metro Attitude sneaker inspired by Jabba the Hutt, a furry brown Jogging High sneaker inspired by Chewbacca, and a Boba Fett inspired ZX 800 sneaker. Adidas did an amazing job with colors of the ZX 800, it really does look just like Boba Fett’s armor.

While the Han Solo in Carbonite SL-72s are my favorite because of their creativity and uniqueness, these Boba Fett sneakers are the shoes I’m most likely to buy! The adidas Originals x Star Wars Fall/Winter 2010 Collection should start showing up in adidas Originals retail locations sometime in September, so be on the look out.

Star Wars x adidas Originals Clothing Line and Sneakers

This stellar collection fuses iconic Star Wars characters and scenes with classic adidas Originals footwear and apparel silhouettes. Inspired by the galactic saga, the Star Wars collection consists of limited edition as well as mass distribution footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and kids. Classic adidas Originals track tops, and several legendary sneaker styles are represented with characters and scenes from the epic saga in reinterpreted versions.

The collection for the first season is split into three packs -- The Characters Pack, the Vehicles Pack and the Direct Pack. The products in each pack take inspiration from the respective aspect of the Star Wars lexicon from legendary characters and crafts to classic scenes and fuse them with iconic adidas Originals silhouettes. The pieces will begin to hit all adidas Originals stores and other select retailers in January 2010.

The Characters Pack takes the most iconic moments and characters from the Star Wars saga and brings them to life across five sneakers, two short sleeve T-shirts and the Superstar Track Top. The Vehicles Pack takes inspiration from the well known vehicles and crafts from the Star Wars saga and translates them to our five most iconic adidas Originals sneakers and two key adidas Originals apparel models. And lastly, the Direct Pack features Darth Vader, the Stormtroopers as well as the Women's Game Mid silhouette that is inspired by Princess Leia, featuring gold detailing paired with a modern high-top silhouette with matching apparel.

The limited edition sneakers are going to be impossible to find and probably already sold out around the world. I’m currently on the hunt for a pair of either the Slave Leia sneakers or Yoda sneakers in size 14 or 15, but I’ve got a feeling my search is going to be pretty unsuccessful. What’s really cool about the limited edition Star Wars x adidas Original sneakers is that they come packaged in full color blister cards just like Star Wars action figures. How cool is that!

The mass produced (and reasonably priced) Star Wars x adidas Originals clothing line and sneakers can be purchased directly from ADIDAS here. For those of you looking for the hard to find stuff, May The Force Be With You!
