Andrew the Giant’s Posse Has a Posse is a mash-up of Shepard Fairey's two signature elements in his OBEY Giant street art campaign: professional wrestler Andre the Giant (his street art campaign’s original mascot) and They Live (the movie Fairey took his Obey motto from).

The Designer Con 2015 Exclusive “Greyscale” Andre the Giant’s Posse Has a Posse by Junk Fed is a hand cast and painted 5” resin figure. It is limited to just 15 pieces and will retail for $50 at the DKE Toys DCon booth #812.

The Blot absolutely loves Junk Fed’s newest resin figure, Andre the Giant’s Posse Has a Posse! As Junk Fed explains how with this release he revisits an experiment in phenomenology, perpetuating a meme into infinity. Longtime fans of Shepard Fairey's OBEY Giant will recognize the figure as a mash-up of Fairey’s two signature elements: professional wrestler Andre the Giant (his street art campaign’s original mascot) and They Live (the movie Fairey took his Obey motto from).

For this release Junk Fed has taken the WWE’s Eighth Wonder of the World and turned him into one of the aliens from They Live. Though it may resemble the action figures from your childhood, it features zero points of articulation and may not play well with the rest of your toys! Each figure is individually hand cast, painted, and finished by Junk Fed.

The “Infinite Edition” Andre the Giant’s Posse Has a Posse Resin Figure by Junk Fed stands 5” tall, weighs 1.75 ounces and features a blue and black color scheme. Each figure comes bagged with a header card and can be purchased on Wednesday, July 22nd, at the Junk Fed online store for $40.
