SDCC 2023 Exclusive G.I. Joe ReAction, Ultimates! & Super Cyborg Action Figures by Super7

Super7 is preparing for a return visit to San Diego Comic-Con later this month and they have a ton of crazy exclusives lined up, including six different SDCC 2023 Exclusive G.I. Joe Action Figure releases! All of these will be available at Super7’s Cobra Global Operations pop-up shop at the Super7 San Diego store at 701 8th Avenue every day of Comic-Con. First up are these insane Comic-Con 2023 Exclusive Rednok Baroness and Red Jackal Destro Ultimates! Variant Action Figures! The Red Jackal was a member of the Red Shadows who fought against the Action Force as depicted in the UK Battle Action Force comic books, while Rednok was an India repaint of the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero action figure from the ‘80s.

Next up is the SDCC 2023 Exclusive G.I. Joe City of the Dead ReAction Figure Box Set, which was inspired by the Ancient Guardians from “The Pyramid of Darkness: Part 3” episode of the 1985 G.I. Joe animated series. This set includes six 3.5” scale ReAction figures – four Clay Warriors with assorted weapon accessories and two Skeleton Warriors with sword accessories. They come packaged in an awesome display window box that evokes the ancient city.

There will also be two new G.I. Joe ReAction retro action figures sold separately that are perfect for army building! The SDCC 2023 Exclusive G.I. SDCC 2021 Exclusive G.I. Joe Pin Sets by Icon Heroes x Previews

It’s May and you know what that means… it’s time for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusives to start being announced!  Even though Comic-Con 2021 may not be taking place this year (again), there are still some really cool SDCC 2021 exclusives being released online.  For instance, Previews is releasing these two awesome San Diego Comic-Con 2021 Exclusive G.I. G.I. Joe Scarlett & The Baroness Blue Edition Bishoujo Statues by Kotobukiya

Kotobukiya continues its beautiful line of G.I. Joe Bishoujo 1/7 Scale Statues with two new blue variants! NYCC 13 Exclusive G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Screen Prints by Tom Whalen

Acid Free Gallery is releasing 10 amazing, officially licensed screen prints exclusively at New York Comic Con 2013! My favorite of the bunch is this beautiful G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero print by Tom Whalen, which is based on my all time favorite ‘80s cartoon of the same name. Seriously, is there anything better than Hasbro’s RAH cartoon? This print has it all, Duke, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Cobra Commander, Destro, The Baroness and Major Blood. It’s even got the OG Gung Ho in it. The only thing it’s missing? Shipwreck with his bird Polly! Ok, and maybe Zartan. Either way, this is definitely one of The Blot's must gets from NYCC 2013.

“G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero” by Tom Whalen is an 18”x24” 7 color screen print. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 183 pieces, comes hand numbered and will retail for $50 each, while the Variant is limited to 83 pieces, comes hand signed and numbered by the artist, and will retail for $65. SDCC 13 Exclusive G.I. Joe x Transformers Jetfire Skystriker & Hound V.A.M.P. Box Set

For the last two years Hasbro has released incredible G.I. Joe x Transformers box sets at San Diego Comic-Con that pay homage to Marvel’s classic 1980s Transformers and G.I. Joe comic book series. Each featured Cobra and Decepticon mash-ups that proved to be some of The Blot’s favorite exclusives of the past few years. Hasbro has announced this will be their last Transformers / G.I. Joe collab release, but they’ve definitely saved the best for last!

For this year’s SDCC release, Hasbro is going with a good guy theme by mashing-up popular Autobots with classic G.I. Joe vehicles. This set includes a G.I. Joe Skystriker featuring the color scheme of Autobot Jetfire and a G.I. Joe V.A.M.P. that has been redecoed to look like Autobot Hound. While these vehicles are cool, the main reason I’d purchase this set is for the action figures! It’s just too bad you can’t purchase them separately.

This San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Transformers x G.I. Joe Box Set also includes Cobra member The Baroness walking the Decepticon mini cassette Ravage! These two figures alone makes this set an instant buy in The Blot’s book. It also includes G.I. Joe Snake Eyes with an Autobot logo on his outfit and a robotic samurai warrior who bears a striking resemblance to Decepticon Pretender Bludgeon. But that’s not all! It also includes Autobot Blaster in his transformed boombox form and a handful of his mini cassette allies. These little add-ons are even cooler than the vehicles they come with!

Cobra Commander & Storm Shadow G.I. Joe Screen Prints by Rhys Cooper

Later today Acidfree Gallery will be releasing the final two pieces in Rhys Cooper’s epic Cobra triptic. Designed as part of Acidfree Gallery’s Hasbro Screen Print Series, “Cobra Commander” and “Storm Shadow” combine with Rhys’ previously released “Baroness” screen print to form a gigantic G.I. Joe image featuring three of the most ruthless villains in the G.I. Joe universe. I especially love the black and red Cobra emblem in the background. This series will look sick next to Grzegorz Domaradzki's G.I. Joe triptic. The Blot can’t wait to see what’s coming up next in this exciting screen print series.

“Cobra Commander” and “Storm Shadow” by Rhys Cooper are 12”x36” limited edition, hand numbered 5 color G.I. Joe screen prints.
