PCC did a fantastic job designing this movie poster for Big Trouble In Little China, which has a very retro feel to it. Fans of Carpenter’s classic movie will definitely not want to miss this one!

Big Trouble In Little China by Phantom City Creative is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 275 pieces and will retail for $55, while the Variant is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $75. Both versions, along with the soundtrack and two different officially licensed enamel pins, will go on sale at noon CDT today, Wednesday, August 1st, at the Mondo online store.

Tonight is the opening night of Tom Whalen’s new solo art exhibit “Bust’d 2: Bust’d with a Vengeance” at Gallery1988 (West)! It’s been a 1.5 years since Whalen’s solo art show “Bust’d” first opened, and the Pennsylvania based artist has been hard at work designing an all new bust theme show. Bust’d 2 will feature a wide variety of pop culture busts as screen prints, metal prints, sketches and original wood sculptures. Whlen will even be in attendance for the opening reception tonight!

For the first time since the ReAction Figure line originally launched in early 2014, Funko and Super7 have added a brand new licensed property to the toy line! The newest wave of ReAction figures includes characters from the cult classic Big Trouble in Little China by John Carpenter. These figures look fantastic, and I especially love that Funko utilized the film’s iconic one sheet movie poster artwork for the wave’s blister card packaging. What I really want to know is whether or not they used the same Kurt Russell head sculpt for Jack Burton as they did for Russell as Snake Plissken in John Carpenter’s Escape from New York.

The Big Trouble in Little China ReAction Retro Action Wave includes Jack Burton, Lo Pan, Gracie Law, Rain, Thunder and Lightning. Studios’ Big Trouble in Little China #1 by Tyler Stout!!! This alternative cover was originally released as a screen print as the official poster for Butt-Numb-A-Thon 9 at the Alamo Drafthouse in 2007. I can’t believe it’s been seven years since this movie poster was first released. Now I just need to figure out how to get my hands on one of these comic books.
