SDCC 2022 Exclusive The Great Showdown Timed Edition Prints by Scott C.

Scott C. will unfortunately not be at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 this year, but he’s not missing out on the fun! Instead he’s hosting his very own Tiny Con from home where he’ll be releasing a ton of epic prints, pins, stickers and more. As part of Tiny Con 2022, Scott C. is releasing 10 different timed edition The Great Showdown prints!

The Great Showdowns are a series of paintings, art shows, and books depicting classic pop culture good guys and bad guys. Each SDCC 2022 exclusive print is based on a movie and features Scott C.’s unique art style. This set includes prints based on Spider-Man: No Way Home, Army of Darkness, Ice Age, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and The Dark Knight Rises.  There are also five prints based on the popular BBC television series Doctor Who!

All ten San Diego Comic-Con 2022 Exclusive The Great Showdown Timed Edition Prints by Scott C. are available now at TheScottCShop.com through the duration of Tiny Con (ending on Sunday, July 24th). Most of the prints measure 5”x5” and retail for just $15, but the Spider-Man print is 10”x12” and retails for $50.

Funko x Playmobil Pop Culture 6” Action Figures

In February 2016 Funko announced a historic new partnership with Playmobile. Now one year later, the epic new toy line of Funko x Playmobile action figures is finally being released! What’s crazy about this collaboration is it features officially licensed pop culture Playmobil figures that are twice the size of the classic Playmobil figures that have been entertaining children and collectors since 1974. Finally, Funko has announced a third wave of Doctor Who Pop! vinyl figures featuring the long running BBC television show’s last four Doctors! Doctor Who Pop! Series 3 includes Tenth Doctor with Hand, "Mr Clever" Eleventh Doctor, Twelfth Doctor with Guitar, War Doctor and the evil Davros. RSD 2016 Exclusive Doctor Who “Genesis of the Daleks” LP Vinyl Record

This Saturday, April 16th, is Record Store Day 2016, where Demon Records will be releasing this really cool Doctor Who “Genesis of the Daleks” LP Vinyl Record. Pressed on 180 gram ‘70s Tardis blue colored vinyl, this highly collectable reissue features one the most dramatic episodes in the television show’s history and has been recreated with the original BBC Records artwork and accompanying sleeve notes. Listen as Doctor Who, narrated by Tom Baker, travels to the desolate planet Skaro where he has been brought by the Time Lord to avert the creation of the Daleks.

“Bust’d 2: Bust’d with a Vengeance” Solo Art Show by Tom Whalen

Tonight is the opening night of Tom Whalen’s new solo art exhibit “Bust’d 2: Bust’d with a Vengeance” at Gallery1988 (West)! It’s been a 1.5 years since Whalen’s solo art show “Bust’d” first opened, and the Pennsylvania based artist has been hard at work designing an all new bust theme show. Bust’d 2 will feature a wide variety of pop culture busts as screen prints, metal prints, sketches and original wood sculptures. Whlen will even be in attendance for the opening reception tonight!

Bust'd 2: Bust'd with a Vengeance opens tonight, Thursday, March 3rd, at Gallery1988 (West) from 7-9pm PST at 7308 Melrose Ave. Collectors’ first opportunity to pick up work from the new show will be tonight at the opening reception. Any remaining pieces will then go on sale in the afternoon of Friday, March 4th, at the Gallery1988 online store.

It’s been a really long time since The Blot’s held a proper giveaway, but this one is worth the wait! In honor of this weekend’s Season 9 premiere of Doctor Who on BBC America, The Blot is giving away two Doctor Who Prize Packs, which each include 8 Doctor Who Titans mini figure blind boxes courtesy of our friends at Entertainment Earth (a value of $79.92)!!! The blind boxes we are giving away are from the Doctor Who Titans “The Rebel Time Lord” Collection, which is based on the 12th Doctor’s first season (Season 8).

This is the first time I’ve had an opportunity to see these Doctor Who Titans figures in person, and they look fantastic! I can’t get over how detailed the head sculpts on these 3” figures. Both limited edition mini figures can be purchased exclusively at Titan’s SDCC booth. The fez wearing Doctor stands 3”tall and will retail for $15, while the tux wearing Doctor stands 4.5” tall and will retail for $20.
