Designer Con 2020 is going virtual and so is DKE Toys!  As they do for all of the big conventions, DKE Toys will be releasing a ton of rad bootleg Star Wars figures.  Check out the final colorway of Mark Todd’s STR WAS S-Troop resin figure, a Sucklord tribute with pink glittery loveliness. 

The S-Troop Gay Empire Resin Figure by Mark Todd is hand sculpted and then the resin casts are hand painted. San Diego Comic-Con 2020 may be canceled, but that doesn’t mean the exclusives have been! Comic-Con at Home is just around the corner, and DKE Toys will be releasing a ton of awesome resin figures, including this rad S-Troop Star Wars Resin Figure by Mark Todd! Each 3.75” resin figure was hand cast and hand painted. Limited to 30 signed and numbered pieces, this STR WAS figure will retail for $55.

The 5th in the STR WAS Series from fan favorite artist Mark Todd. How long can this series go on? You decide!!! We hope that he finishes the original 12 Kenner figures but only time will tell. Mark sculpted the figure and then hand painted the resin casts. He printed the card backs on his very own risograph machine one color at a time.

DKE Toys is hosting a LIVE virtual event in place of the canceled San Diego Comic-Con 2020. For your enjoyment DKE Toys has created #DKECON to fill the gaping hole in your canceled convention season. The pandemic has provided the unusual opportunity of inviting everyone the DKE team knows to their San Diego Comic-Con “booth”.

The DKE Toys booth will be set up in the DKE warehouse and available to all via a live continuous Zoom meeting and for the first time in DKE Toys history all of the SDCC convention releases will be available in an online store.

#DKECON via Zoom will open for “Preview Night” Wednesday, July 22nd, from 5pm – 9pm and continue Thursday, July 23rd, from 9am – 7pm, Friday, July 24th, from 9am – 7pm, Saturday, July 25th, from 9am – 7pm, and Sunday, July 26th, from 9am – 5pm. The online store will open at 5pm on Wednesday, July 22nd, and remain open 24 hours a day through Sunday, July 26th, for the duration of the show.

All exclusive products will be limited to one per person per item on Wednesday night. Starting Thursday two or more will be available. Starting Thursday at 10am the DKE Toys warehouse will be open for walk in business one customer at a time, state and local government regulations permitting.

DKE Toys presents SDCC 2018 Exclusive Star Wars “Space Rat” Action Figure Art Series

It took DKE Toys a long time to figure out what to do with a galactic sized pile of vintage Kenner Salacious Crumb action figures from the original Star Wars toy line. Behold, the limited edition Space Rat Action Figure Art Series! For this exciting new series, DKE Toys invited 11 artists to lend their skills to interpret the galaxy’s favorite Space Rat.

For the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Exclusive Star Wars “Space Rat” Action Figure Art Series each artist created an original painting of the character for the packaging. Those paintings were then transformed into signed and numbered card backs, which have affixed to them authentic Kenner Salacious Crumb action figure from 1983! There are 11 artists in all participating in this series, with each artist specific card back limited to 100 pieces. These fantastic pieces will retail for just $25 at the DKE Toys SDCC booth #5045, or you can get a full set of all 11 different designs for $200. That’s like 3 free Space Rats! For those collectors wanting the complete series, figures numbered 1-20 will be available at the show as matching numbered sets.
