Later this month Medicom, Star Wars and A Bathing Ape will be collaborating on a second wave of Baby Milo vinyl figures! The Star Wars x BAPE Vinyl Collectible Dolls Wave 2 includes two different Boba Fett Baby Milos (an Empire Strikes Back and a Return of the Jedi colorway) and a Scount Trooper Baby Milo, each with removable helmets. The Blot loves that they’re continuing the helmeted villain theme for these figures, but where is my Milo-3PO and R2-Milo? Each figure stands 7.25” tall and will retail for $100 at select stores worldwide. Who’s hooking me up with a Boba Fett Milo!?!

The Simpsons x BAPE T-Shirt Collection

A Bathing Ape kicked off 2014 with a very unexpected collaboration with…The Simpsons! To celebrate the show’s 25th season, television’s first family has been showing up in all kinds of clothing lines these past few months. Although this release might just be The Simpsons’ swankiest yet! For The Simpsons x BAPE Capsule Collection, A Bathing Ape has re-imagined Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie in the style of BAPE’s mascot Baby Milo.

The Blot’s never been a huge BAPE fan, but I do like these simplistic designs featuring The Simpsons clan and Baby Milo. The donut design is especially nice. I’m just not sure any of these t-shirts, crewnecks, zip-up hoodies, varsity jackets and snapback hats seen here are worth their hefty price tags. While most of the t-shirts sold out upon their release on January 1, 2014, many of the crewnecks and hoodies are still available at the BAPE online store for $121 and up.

Each figure stands 7.25” tall, retails for $100 and goes on sale November 23, 2013 in select stores worldwide.

Kaws x BAPE Dissected Milo Vinyl Figure

The Dissected Milo vinyl figure features Kaws’ signature design on Japanese clothing company A Bathing Ape’s iconic mascot. The Blot’s not sure what to think about this cute little dissected ape. On the one hand, I really dig this collaboration by Original Fake and BAPE. I mean what figure doesn’t look great dissected by Kaws? But the 8” figure’s $265 price tag is just ridiculous. For that much money the Kaws x BAPE Dissected Milo vinyl figures better be super limited (which it’s probably not) or include some really cool extras (which I’m sure it won’t).

The Kaws x BAPE Dissected Milo vinyl figure will come in three unique colorways (black, brown and gray), retail for $265 each and go on sale later on this month (February 2011). You can currently pre-order all three colorways from ToyQube here.
