Red King Mummy Gator & Burning Burgundy Honoo Vinyl Figures by Super7

The Blot loves that we’re getting new sofubi figures from Super7 every month now. If only they didn’t sell out so darn fast!!! For April 2024, Super7 released the Red King Mummy Gator and the Burning Burgundy Honoo by Leecifer.

The Red King Mummy Gator ($65) by Brian Flynn stands 6” tall and is cast in ivory soft Japanese vinyl with yellow and blue sprays and red and silver detailing. The Burning Burgundy Honoo ($45) stands 4” tall and is cast in burgundy vinyl with pink and metallic bronze sprays and lime green and light blue detailing. Both figures were sold exclusively at Super7.com and promptly sold out upon release.

SDCC 2023 Exclusive Mummy Boy & Mummy Gator Vinyl Figures by Super7

After a very long hiatus, Super7 is finally bringing some new exclusive sofubi to San Diego Comic-Con! Check out these SDCC 2023 Exclusive Mummy Boy and Mummy Gator soft Japanese vinyl figures. Sofubi was such an important part of Super7’s offerings for years, so The Blot is excited to see S7 returning to its roots with these new 6” mascot figures. Collectors can purchase these Comic-Con exclusive colorways at the Super7 SDCC booth #2542.

Super7 Drops a Surprise Collection of new Japanese Vinyl Figures!

To celebrate Friday the 13th, Super7 surprised us a all with a huge crop of new sofubi!  The Blot’s a diehard fan of Super7’s soft Japanese vinyl figures, and it was great to see so many old classics back and better than ever.  This new wave of figures includes the mascot size green Mummy Gator 6” vinyl figure ($65), and two Monster Family 4” classics – Honoo (Clear Purple) by Leecifer and Rose Vampire (Dark Blue) by Josh Herbolsheimer – each retailing for $35.

But that’s not all!  Super7 has also brought back their deliciously mischievous Kandy Kaiju 3” figures!  Check out these new green colorways of the melting ice cream cone Milton, the ice cream sandwich Foster and the slice of yummy goodness Pie Guy. Each of these pocket size figures retails for $25.  Collectors can purchase all 6 figures now at Super7.com.

SDCC 13 Exclusive “Creamy Filling” Mummy Gator Vinyl Figure by Super7

After an all too lengthy slumber, the Mummy Gator is finally back! Super7′s swamp mascot awakens from the water with an incredible marbled look of bright orange and beautiful glow in the dark vinyl. What’s awesome about this swirled look is no two figures are exactly alike! The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive “Creamy Filling” Mummy Gator by Brian Flynn is cast in orange and glow in the dark vinyl swirled together with white and red spray. Each SDCC 2013 Exclusive MG stands 6” tall, features two points of articulation and can be purchased from the Super7 SDCC booth #5245 for $50.

“1-Offs” Custom Vinyl Toys by Leecifer

This Saturday at Super7 is the “1-Offs” custom vinyl toy show curated by Leecifer. Over 30 artists are participating and each one will be premiering all new customs incorporating Super7 and Gargamel Toys. From what I’ve seen this is shaping up to be a truly amazing custom show, with every artist bringing their A game. Not one to be outdone, Leecifer debuted his four customs for the “1-Off” show and all The Blot can say is wow!

Leecifer’s Melting Skull Rose Vampire seriously blows my mind, and how do you not love Lee’s Evel Kenevil Mummy Gator? Throw in his latest amazing Batman custom, this time it’s Batman Big Sal to the rescue, and a flaming Fire Robo, and you’ve got a little something for everyone!

It’s really too bad the “1-Offs” Show at Super7 is cash and carry, or I’d be all over a ton of the customs heading to this show. For those of you in the San Francisco area, the show takes place this Saturday, January 29th at 6pm. Be sure to get there early!

Dark Blue Mummy Gator by Super7

Don't feel blue, Super7’s Mummy Gator is back! He may be looking a bit blue himself, but he remains as happy as ever. The 6” Dark Blue Mummy Gator with Light Blue Spray will go on sale sometime soon at the Super7 online store for $50 each.

Green Glitter Mummy Gator Vinyl Figure by Super7

Super7 follows up its killer San Diego Comic-Con exclusives with a new version of an old favorite. The new Green Glitter Mummy Gator is just beautiful, and it’s colorways like this one that makes me wish I collected Mummy Gators! Everything about this figure just pops, from its clear green vinyl with glitter to its gold and white paint accents. In my honest opinion, if you’re ever going to buy an 8” Mummy Gator this is the colorway to get.

Super7 - Albino Mummy Gator Vinyl Figure

Among the rarest of creatures found in the wild Florida swamps is the glow in the dark Albino Mummy Gator! This elusive creature can be seen on rare occasion glowing in the dark of night, but never stays above water for long. You know The Blot loves GID vinyl figures, so I’m pretty excited for Super7’s release of the Albino Mummy Gator this weekend.


Albino Mummy Gator by Super7 will retail for $50 each and goes on sale tomorrow, Saturday, May 15th, at 11am PDT at the Super7 Store, and at Super7 Florida's Monsters in the Mangrove art show.

Super7 - Yellow Rose Vampire by Josh Herbolsheimer Teaser Image

Thanks to the Kaiju Chronicle, we now have our very first look at the next colorway of one of my favorite vinyl figures, the Rose Vampire! All The Blot knows about the upcoming Yellow Rose Vampire by Josh Herbolsheimer is that it features red and blue spray, and it will hopefully be released sometime soon! More details to come…
