David Horvath 36” Bossy Bear Qee

Yesterday, the third figure in Toy2R’s upcoming 36" Artist Qee Collection was officially revealed, and was there any doubt David Horvath’s 36 inch Qee design would be his popular Bossy Bear? At this point Bossy Bear has been produced in just about every size imaginable, from his original 4" vinyl figure to his 12" Monster Bossy Bear series. But The Blot’s pretty sure he’s never been like this before!

Standing a gigantic 3 feet tall, David Horvath’s Bossy Bear XL Scale Qee has a limited edition run size of just 36 pieces and will retail for $2,800. While the limited edition nature of these 36” Qees is quite impressive, I’m dying to know how well they’ve been selling with such a steep price tag. I have to imagine no store is just blindly pre-ordering these, and any purchases made placed at this point are by the artists’ diehard collectors. But either way I have to commend Toy2R for producing such an ambitious series!

Red Plasma Big Sal & Clear Red Foster Vinyl Figures by Super7

With summer basically over, Super7 decided to kick off the fall season a little early with a couple of clearly radical and redical new figures! First up is the devilish Big Sal by Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas. The Red Plasma Big Sal was last seen in the vicinity of Dragon*Con, wearing a translucent dark red straight jacket with black, pink and yellow accents. Big Sal is considered dangerous and insane, approach with caution! Joining Big Sal is Foster, the ice cream sandwich that just can't keep his hand to or off himself. Each delicious bite brings him closer to his own demise. Foster is cast in translucent red vinyl with light blue spray.

Clear Red Foster will be released Friday, September 2nd, at 12 o’clock noon PDT at the Super7 online store, while Red Plasma Big Sal will be released the following Saturday (September 3rd) at 12 o’clock noon PDT. For those of you lucky enough to attending Dragon*Con this weekend, you pick up the Red Plasma Big Sal a little early direct from Brandt Peters and Kathie Olivas!

Toy Karma III Rotofugi Exclusive Orange Painted Greasebat Vinyl Figure by Jeff Lamm

Rotofugi’s Toy Karma 3 is just a few weeks away and The Blot is super excited for the show. Besides featuring some amazing customs, the show will also be the exclusive retailer of Monster Worship’s newest painted Greasebat colorway! Inspired by vintage kaiju colorways of old, the Toy Karma III Rotofugi Exclusive Orange Painted Greasebat by Jeff Lamm looks pretty freaking awesome! The fourth painted production Greasebat is cast in an orange vinyl, and comes highlighted with green sprays and metallic silver horns and accent sprays.

The Orange Painted Greasebat will go on sale exclusively at Rotofugi’s Toy Karma III opening on Saturday, September 10th.
