The Blot’s never read the
Cowboys & Aliens graphic novel, I’m nevertheless very excited for the upcoming live action movie adaptation if for no other reason than the film’s director and cast. The
Cowboys & Aliens film is being directed by Jon Favreau and features a veritable who’s who of The Blot’s favorite actors, including Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Olivia Wilde, Sam Rockwell, Paul Dano, Keith Carradine and Walton Goggins.
Cowboys & Aliens is shaping up to be the next big comic book based summer blockbuster!
Then again, it’s going to have some really stiff competition for that title next summer from a number of more “mainstream” comic book franchises. While
Cowboys & Aliens is not scheduled for release until sometime during summer 2011, its very first trailer will be unveiled by Universal Studios tomorrow. So keep your eyes peeled on
