Last weekend was the first stop of the Johnny Cupcakes x Junk Food Clothing Taste-Makers Ice Cream Truck Tour in New York City’s SoHo. Over the course of the 2 day pop-up store the JCxJF ice cream truck released 4 tour exclusive t-shirts, 2 NYC tour stop exclusive t-shirts (1 each day) in custom packaging, and a New York tour stop exclusive four pin pack. This entire collection looks sick, and The Blot’s excited to say I’ve got a Lady Liberty in push-pop packaging and a pin pack coming my way! Here’s hoping I can snag some pin packs from the other two tour stops as well.
Saturday’s NYC tour stop exclusive design was entitled “New York Licks”, a play on the New York Knicks logo, and came packaged in a gigantic ice cream pint container! For Sunday, the NYC tour stop exclusive was a unique tribute to the Statue of Liberty entitled “Lady Liberty”. This fun t-shirt came packaged in an enormous and fun push-pop package. Both shirts had limited edition run sizes of 150 pieces each.
Johnny Cupcakes and Junk Food Clothing also released 4 Tastemakers designs exclusive for this three stop tour: a JCxJF Collab Logo tee, a Make Cupcakes Not War design, a Neapolitan Crossbones and an Air Johnny! I know that last one will really get sneaker heads excited. The Collab Logo tee retails for $40, the other three designs retail for $35 each. Each limited edition city specific tee retails for $50, each city specific pin pack retails for $5 and there’s also a 12”x12” Johnny Cupcakes x Junk Food Tastemakers screen print (not shown) that you can purchase at all three tour stops for $15.
