Today Nakatomi will be releasing the final print in its popular Frankenstein Screen Print Series featuring the artwork of comic book legend Bernie Wrightson! It’s been an amazing series and The Blot’s pretty bummed to see it end. Here’s hoping Bernie and Nakatomi will teaming up again soon on a new print release. Wrightson’s line work in “Close Attention” is really amazing. I can’t get over how he’s able to create such realistic lighting using only one color of ink!
“Close Attention” by Bernie Wrightson is a 20”x30” Frankenstein screen print on 130lb Cougar Natural paper. Each print comes signed and numbered by Bernie Wrightson and has a limited edition run size of 140 pieces, with only 30 made available to the public (the remaining 110 of these prints are already spoken for through the series’ subscription). The print goes on sale at 2pm CDT today, Tuesday, September 10th, at the Nakatomi online store.
