Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum have unveiled Marvel Minimates Series 60, and it’s an X-Men wave based on one of The Blot’s favorite ‘90s Marvel comic book issues, Uncanny X-men #275! Series 60 features the X-Men’s Strike Force team in their classic blue and gold uniforms in battle against Freedom Force (aka the Brother of Evil Mutants from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s). What’s really cool about this release is each 2 pack includes bonus parts to create an alternate X-Men character!
X-Men Strike Force vs. Freedom Force Marvel Minimates Series 60 includes four 2 packs: Wolverine (with Forge parts) vs. Blob, Banshee (with Gambit parts) vs. Pyro, Storm (with Psylocke parts) vs. Avalanche, and the short-packed, one per case Jubilee vs. Destiny! Each X-Men Marvel Minimates Set includes two 2” mini figures featuring 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable parts and accessories.
