In celebration of the Wet Hot American Summer: 10 Years Later television series debuting on Netflix this Friday, Mondo will be releasing a pair of new posters for the film that started it all: Whet Hot American Summer! Both posters were designed by Andrew Kolb, who as Mondo puts it “did an incredible job showcasing the many manic personalities and interactions between them using his signature illustration style.” Kolb went on to explain, “If I captured half of the charm, humanity, and silliness of the source material then I consider it a success. Heck I'd take 40%.”
Wet Hot American Summer (Version 1) by Andrew Kolb is a 24”x18” hand numbered screen print. Wet Hot American Summer (Version 2) is an 18”x24” hand numbered screen print. Each edition is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $45. Both versions go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, August 3rd, at the Mondo online store.
