Ghostfighter Tribute Edition Vinyl Figures by Super7

Ghostfighter Tribute Edition Vinyl Figures by Super7

Earlier this year, Super7 lost two good friends and long time supporters of the designer toy scene: Anthony Conte and William “Scott” Godon-Decoteau. In tribute to both of these follow collectors, Super7 will be releasing 2 new versions of their classic Ghostfighter soft Japanese vinyl figure in their honor. The William “Scott” Godon-Decoteau Ghostfighter is a blue glow-in-the-dark colorway, while the Anthony Conte Ghostfighter is an all black with white details colorway. Both of these special Ghostfighters will come poly bagged with a tribute header card dedicated to each collector, and are scheduled to go on sale at noon PST today, Wednesday, December 12th, at the Super7 online store.

On October 10th, 2018 William “Scott” Godon Decoteau passed away. Scott's positivity, kindness and exuberance for life will never be matched. His passion for toys went beyond his 9-5 day working for LEGO and he became a proud member and contributor to the Skullbrain / Super7 community in 2007. Scott was a kid at heart and lived for the carefree experience of never growing up, never giving in, and never stopping life’s adventures. His 10+ years at LEGO brought millions of smiles to kids of all ages through things like LEGO Club TV, countless LEGO play theme campaigns, and the NINJAGO TV series. If you knew Scott... you really miss him. If you didn't get the chance to meet him, know that he is stoked beyond words that there is another classic Ghostflghter. Let this toy be a reminder to always challenge yourself, never stop adventuring, face adversity with a huge dose of PMA and always fight the power!

On April 13, 2018, Anthony Conte left this world. A longtime friend of Super7, Wildland Firefighter for the Park Service, and proud member of the 501st Carolina Garrison, Anthony (Badge Tl-28803) made it his goal in life to bring joy and kindness to all, especially those in need. As a member of the 501st Legion costume group, he raised money for several charity organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. He frequently visited children's hospitals in costume to bring smiles to children during a very difficult time in their lives. Anthony took great passion in everything he loved, his family, friends, his job as a Wildland Firefighter, Straight Edge, Disney, Star Wars, and collecting. He is missed by everyone who knew him and we know he would be so excited about this release.
