Gold Coin x The Hieroglyphics Hieroman Clothing & Accessory Collection

Bay Area natives and legendary hip-hop crew The Hieroglyphics and San Francisco clothing company Gold Coin have teamed up to create The Hieroglyphics x Gold Coin Hieroman Collection, a series of Hiero inspired clothing and accessories. You may remember the collection’s first release, the limited edition Hieroman vinyl figure, and now the entire collection of clothing and accessories has been unveiled!

With both brands (Hieroglyphics and Gold Coin) being Bay Area natives, it was only a matter of time before their paths would cross. Each company came to the table with their own styles and backgrounds. After sitting down the joined creative force grew beyond what either brand had expected; no single item could express what had now been birthed. The natural progression was to not only release a single collaborative product but a capsule collection. The outcome is a jointly branded micro product line.

All of the items seen above and more can now be purchased via the Gold Coin online store. The Hieroglyphics x Gold Coin Hieroman Collection t-shirts retail for $30, crews retail for $60 and the Hieroman woodallion necklace retails for $30. The Hieroman vinyl figure retails for $68, while the Hieroman key chain retails for $10. Be sure to act quickly though, because there’s no telling how long these limited edition products will remain available.

Standing 7″ tall, the Hieroman vinyl figure has the classic Hieroglyphics logo on once side of its head, with the Gold Coin logo on the back. It also comes equipped with a laser engraved wooden medallion necklace featuring the Hieroglyphics logo. This killer figure also comes equipped with his own knapsack and green beanie, which pays homage to Hieroglyphics’ classic backpack rap.

Hieroman will be available mid-October as part of The Hieroglyphics x GOLD COIN Capsule Collection. More info on the Hieroman vinyl figure and the full clothing collection will become available soon. Hiero is also planning a musical release in support of the Hieroman action figure.

Gold Coin x Argonaut Resin Special Edition Featured Artist Custom Stick Up! Figures

This week Argonaut Resin and Gold Coin announced a very special project involving their line of Stick Up! resin figures. (link) The Stick Up! resin figure deserves a grand finale, and that’s exactly what it’s going to get. To end the 30 piece series, the last 4 blank figures were given to a select group of artists to customize. These artists include Mr. Shane Jessup, Jon Knox (Hello, Brute), Dez Einswell, and Three (GOLDCOIN), and their four figures constitute the Special Edition Featured Artist Wave.


These extremely talented artists are working on their hand painted custom figures now, and all 4 one off pieces will be available at auction very soon. Stay tuned for more info on the piece details and auction dates soon.

Argonaut Resin x Gold Coin Stick Up! Golden Edition Resin Figure

The newest Argonaut Resin x Gold Coin Stick Up! colorway dropped yesterday and this time it’s a one of a kind metallic gold version of everyone’s favorite bendable resin figure. There is only one of these bad boys available, so if you want it you’d better act fast! Because once it’s gone, there will never be another Golden version made.


The Stick Up! Golden Edition resin figure stands 8 inches tall, comes with bendy limbs and a loot bag accessory. Each figure also comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity by artist/designer Ray Robinson III/ Three and sculptor/producer Eric Nocella Diaz and is packaged in a custom handmade box. The Stick Up! Golden Edition retails for $99 (plus $11 shipping to anywhere in the US) and can be purchased directly from Argonaut Resins here at its Big Cartel online store.

Gold Coin x PaperMonster T-Shirt

The Blot has no idea how I missed this awesome collaboration between San Francisco based clothing brand Gold Coin and New York stencil graffiti artist PaperMonster, but I’m glad I happened to notice it while checking out GC’s Holiday 2009 clothing line. The Blot was just looking at this cool crossbones t-shirt and thought to myself how the design inside the cross-bones looks just like some of PaperMonster’s killer paper collage artwork. Of course, if I had only taken the time to look at the shirt’s title I would have realized right away this was an official Gold Coin x PaperMonster t-shirt!


Gold Coin is only producing 500 black and 500 white of the limited edition PaperMonster t-shirts seen above, so if you want one act fast! Once these tees are gone, they’ll never be available again. Argonaut Resin x Gold Coin Stick Up! Wave 3: Skittles Pack

Here’s the official teaser for Argonaut Resin x Gold Coin Stick Up! Wave 3: Skittles pack by Gold Coin founder, Ray “Three” Robinson III. (link) Unlike the last two waves, each piece in this set will be a one of a kind colorway. Wave 3 will include 5 different colors: Tropicana, Limon, Lemon Head, Booya Berry, & Black Cherry.


Each hand cast and painted Stick Up! resin figure stands at 8″ tall and has bendable limbs. Wave 3 will be packaged in custom boxes with a signed and numbered Certificate of Authenticity. All 5 figures in the Skittles Pack will be available later today (Wednesday, December 23rd), at 12 noon EST in the Argonaut Resins online store for around $110.

Gold Coin x Argonaut Resin Stick Up Wave 1 Red Colorway

The first Gold Coin toy has finally arrived! Tomorrow, Friday, November 20th, Argonaut Resins drops Wave 1 of the Stick Up resin figure designed by Cold Coin founder, Ray “Three” Robinson III. Wave 1 includes 10 Stick Up figures, all featuring the figure’s red colorway. Argonaut is only making 10 of this red colorway (there are 30 Stick Up resin figures planned in total), so if you want one of these killer red colorways you’d better act fast.


Each Stick Up figure comes hand numbered and boxed with an official Certificate of Authenticity from Argonaut Resins. The COA will be signed by both the artist (Three of Gold Coin) and the sculptor (END of Argonaut Resins).


The Gold Coin x Argonaut Resin Stick Up Wave 1 (Red Colorway) goes on sale tomorrow at noon EST on the Argonaut Resins online shop. Each figure will retail for $99.

Argonaut Resins x Gold Coin Stick Up Resin Figure

The Blot’s favorite resin toy makers, Argonaut Resins, is teaming up with Gold Coin’s Ray “Three” Robinson III to release the world’s first moveable resin figure entitled Stick Up. Stick Up is 8 inches tall, features four bendable limbs and comes with a money bag accessory. I can’t wait to see what colorways Argonaut Resins comes up with for Stick Up, but I have a feeling the figure’s going to look awesome in any color/shade.


What I love most of all about Stick Up is the way Argonaut Resins has brought Three’s unique art style to life in a three dimensional figure. Not all designs are able to transfer from paper to resin/vinyl form successfully, but when they do it’s the perfect mash-up of art and toy. No word yet from Argonaut Resins on Stick Up’s price, release date or colorways, but we’ll hopefully know more soon!
